Markinsa
If you have been having problems with duplicate posts, it could be you have Internet Explorer 9. I discovered Microsoft Technical Bulletin that explains how to correct this problem. Double posts from IE9 on a (Windows 7 64 bit) Applies To: Internet Explorer | Internet Explorer 9 | Windows 7 Version 9.0.8112.16421Update Versions: 9.0.3 (KB2586448) We are seeing double posts from IE9 on a Windows 7 64 bit box. The double posts are not a result from user double clicking as we are seeing these when driving the browser via a selenium test script. When we add the IE8 compatibility mode header, or switch to IE8 manually via F12, the problem goes away (back to single posts). The posts are milliseconds apart. F12 reports a single form submission via user click on the form submit button, but wireshark/TCP packet analysis shows two posts via two different source ports on the client ~ 10 milliseconds apart. It's causing havoc with our app on the server side, and we would very much not like to continue using compatibility mode as our "solution". The only other reports somewhat related i've been able to find are: http://stackoverflow...read-88895.html Any explanation as to why this might be happening, or solutions other than "switch to compatibility mode" would be greatly appreciated. Hit F12 and then select a different Browser. I'm currently using "Internet Explorer 9 Compatibility View" and have no problems with the double posting. http://msdn.microsof...px#OpeningTools -
