The independent Iraqi news agency / Baghdad / p. … G announced a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Member of Parliament Rafie Abdul Jabbar. That his committee on Wednesday will host a delegation from the Foreign Ministry to discuss the issue out of Iraq from Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

He said Abdul-Jabbar to the reporter ( and independent Iraqi news agency ) that the Foreign Ministry delegation will be headed by Deputy Minister Mohammed al-Haj Hamoud, includes a number of officials in the ministry. To discuss the exit of Iraq from Chapter VII.

We can only hope that this meeting will bring resolution and completion of Chap. VII. Most of the earlier meetings (before the end of the year) accomplished only a clarification of what still needed to be done by Iraq or where they needed to do better.
If is evident that the sanctions are a leash that the GOI does not want and is hindering them from total "sovereignty". Every time the GOI makes a speech and claims "sovereignty" the UN pulls the leash and says, "Not yet."
Let's pray that total release is achieved and the leash of Chapter VII is removed.
