Yes it will take some time to do the three readings...months most likely. If you don't believe me, look at the past laws that have been finally passed, it's taken months to get three readings.

Going by the facts of their history of passing laws, they seem to be in no hurry so I guess months is a better timeframe than years! They also have the budget to do the readings on yet so we are still in the same boat as we were in November when they first came back in session...we wait.

Yes, but in the past they did not have control of their own country. Let's hope the new situation gives them the incentive to work quickly.

Its all about context, don't sweat it, he wasn't trying to sink your ship personally. It is a bummer that it could take that long, but don't shoot the messenger.

Yes it does but don’t quote me on the info below that I believe will follow

First reading is the draft law.
Second reading is the proposal to the parliament members.

Then……….Wait for it…………
The last reading is then the vote to pass the law or to chuck it out…………if it passes we are £s or $s in……if not it all starts again…..new draft, yada yada yada

Just because I base my statements on fact does not mean I'm a downer. I want this as much as you do so please stop taking things so personally. The facts are, it has taken them months in the past to pass bills so until you show me facts that state otherwise I will err on the side of caution and not get my hopes up. I am very educated on this investment and have 6+years in this. Please don't treat me like I'm a nobody and a "downer." If I don't say what you want to hear and pump things up for you then please don't read my posts. I try to be respectful and, again, make realistic statements. In this case it is my opinion that it will not be passed overnight. I'm sorry you dont' like hearing from non-pumpers.

I may be wrong, but I was thinking back before Thanksgiving someone posted that the HCL law only needed to be read once and be posted in the Gazette to go into effect.

Everytime....u go w the pumper view...dude check my post and see when the last time i posted a reply in anything other than the news section....now i understand that you have been in this for 6+ years and Im sorry you put your self in the position of buying into this wayyyyy to early and your mind is stale but listen up....times have changed whats happening right now is nothing you have been told before...all im asking you to do is get a little excited and stop being such a negative nelly.

I'm not even lowering myself to respond to those comments, but what I will say is that I think we can clearly see which of the two of us is being more respectful and mature. Again, I'm sorry you feel that way. I will continue to write and deal with things my own way, thank you for your concern. I will also continue to utilize VIP in a way that I feel is right for me, and not allow someone to tell me otherwise. Have a good day and, I will try to allow my stale mind to soften up.
