Iraqi government:Prime Minister has the power to grant leave open his deputy

Baghdad, 22 December / December (Rn) - The Iraqi government,on Thursday, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has the authority to grant hisdeputy, Saleh al-Mutlaq, leave open until the House of Representatives to takea decision on the withdrawal of confidence in him and his dismissal.

The legal adviser in the Iraqi government Fadhil MohammedJawad, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the right to give hisdeputy prime minister to leave open the issue of his dismissal until the end ofconditional approval of the House of Representatives according to theConstitution."

The Iraqi government announced, Wednesday, Prime MinisterNuri al-Maliki granted his deputy, Saleh al-Mutlaq, leave open and sent thedecision his dismissal to the Board of episodes officially, while Deputy PrimeMinister Saleh al-Mutlaq, he did not resign from office, and that PrimeMinister Nuri al-Maliki has no power to sack him, the absence in the Council ofMinisters of open licensing.

Jawad added that "the Prime Minister's decision to firesent to the House of Representatives for approval according to the article (78)of the Iraqi Constitution, which gives Parliament the right to dismissal-Mutlaq, or not."

Article 78 of the Iraqi constitution that "the PrimeMinister is the direct executive authority responsible for the general policyof the state, and commander of the armed forces, the management of the Councilof Ministers, and presides over its meetings, and the right to dismissministers, with the consent of the House of Representatives."

And criticized the Iraqi List, strongly told Prime MinisterNuri al-Maliki on recent developments in Iraq, Wednesday, and said the list ledby Iyad Allawi, it had begun consultation with the political blocs to withholdconfidence from the Maliki government, which turned into a "dictator"is trying to keep everyone, saying he has no right to bully the Vice PresidentSaleh al-Mutlaq and the withdrawal of confidence unless it withdrew itsconfidence from the entire government and the formation of new government atthe same time warning of the collapse of the country's security.

The capital, Baghdad, on Thursday, a series of bombingsclaimed by the official toll for the Ministry of Health, 238 people were killedor wounded, confirming that the proceeds are to rise to the intensity of thebombings.
