I BELIEVE YOU MAY BE SPOT ON! WE JUST GOT ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE DEALING IN U.S. DOLLARS AT ALL HERE. NO MORE CASH PERIOD. DEBIT ONLY! I HOPE THIS IS WHAT'S HAPPENING B/C I'M READY TO GET OUT OF HERE... OH, AND WILL SOMEBODY LET ME KNOCK OFF SADR??? I HATE THIS GUY SO MUCH. I WISH HE WAS IN THAT GAHDAFFI CONVOY!!!Well this could be a good thing that our troops are leaving, the way I see it if our troops leave Iraq so does the US dollar, so they will have to revalue their dinar.
I am sure some of our soldiers bought stuff sooooooo No troops, No USD sooooo maybe this will force them into a revalue the dinar.

Yes. Teresa i have talked with a few people as well and they have the same sentiments as well. Basically its risky but i do feel once we are GONE not completely but majority Iraq HAS to funcction on its own. They are making baby steps and we have held their hand through the process now its time for them to stand up and walk on their own this will mean they need sanctions removed where they can defend themseleves also toget the country back working on their OWN. This also includes diminishing the USE of the U.S dollar and using their OWN currency so this tells me they must add value to it and restore the wealth and purchasing power back to their people that way they can trust the new banking sectors and reforms that go along with it. I truly believe we are really really close dont lose the faith.

I like the way you think! Local economies are always negatively affected when money that US troops used to spend are no longer purchasing their products.Well this could be a good thing that our troops are leaving, the way I see it if our troops leave Iraq so does the US dollar, so they will have to revalue their dinar.
