If we undermine these areas over a period of time the great country of America will collapse from within.

When i ran across this article it hit me like a ton of bricks. Looking at how our country is engulfed in the different distructive things going on right now and comparing it to what this man said decades ago it is scary. America became great because capitalism and the free market rewards individuals for taking risks (along with working hard) and rewardings them if they were successful. Socialism and all the other "ism", take away the incentive to take risks...because the sweat of your brow and the corresponding success goes to someone else that isn't willing to take risks and/or work hard.

I would not defend Bush's spending nor any other President of late. The problem is with all Presidents in the recent past. But Americans have awakened and this problem should come to a halt shortly.
