it is currently 1700 Dubai time, just spent two days traveling from Balad Iraq to camp liberty, bought dinar at 1170 rate at two different banks in Iraq. Green zone and on liberty, had no issues with customs and we were well searched, as a matter of fact my dinar was in an old envelope sitting next to my laptop, going through the airport and the security dude says , "you still buying this crap?" in a arabic accent of course, I chuckled ..and pressed on. I hit Dubai today at 1345 approx. went straight to the exchange, rate still the same 1170 and they aren't buyin it. No winks no woo hoos nada nuthin..Then to hsbc, same story. So now I am at the grand hyatt getting ready to tie one on and get back to the states for some r and r..Not saying it isn't gonna go, just sayin it hasn't in country or near by for that matter...So chill, have a cold one, ban the pumpers and press on..Semper fi..one interesting thing is the mood is getting better in Baghdad, but let me enlighten you , it is still a combat zone and very far from utopia... Alot and I say ALOT of Iranians passin through with bags an bags of fruit, hmm UN sanctions must be really getting to them, that must be what was meant by the "purchasing of large gifts" by you know who the f...anyway peace everyone have a great weekend.

Thanks for the post Bro, keep your head down...

God Bless You!

Now that I have some gin in me, wouldn't it be sweet to be able to pump the pumpers? anyone have any thoughts? let's do it I say! If only we could do it and have it not effect the wee young ones..I have watched so many good folk get tore up by their crap reports, I realize each of us are our own persons and make our own decisions, but at some point some of us are destined to stick up for the little guy, after all isn't that what our country preaches? Yet we all sit here and let the pumpers get away with this over and over..we need a plan b fellas...

Thank you Sir. Nice to hear some clarity.

:P I just can't imagine you missed all those signs on the walls of the banks with the new rate posted on them... and all those people celebrating in the streets... :(

Fight the tendency, Man!

What have you got against the 'go-girls' anyway?

Pumpers are just cheerleaders. They help create the energy necessary to win the game.

The 'wee ones' as you call them, are getting some great lessons.

You want to take this away from them too?

And all because you have an emotional addiction to parenting...adults?

Often, being 'torn up' is how we find the really 'great stuff' inside of us.

Let it go. We are all getting what we need from this experience.

And it is simply awesome!

Most sincerely,

gridkeeper
