I thought it might be good for newbies...to have a discussion about who is respectable that shows up on chat regularly. At this point the only people I listen to are Adam, Sonny and Bondlady. I'd like others opinions on who can be trusted...

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect . It means you decide to see beyond the imperfections.

Uh... A little commen sense here? What exactly is there required to be an expert on the Dinar? Why is anyone respected if you won't know what mechanism triggers the RV? Anyone can read Wikipedia and get the history of Iraq and the dinar but isn't there hope that this will be a unique situation? If it is a unique situation then how can anyone be an expert or even respected regarding the Dinar? Everyone has their reasons for being here. Mine is for after and just a small possibility that there is an accurate post that it has RV'ed... So in other words, I will not respect anyone more or less regardless of their + or - status, post ranking or guru status, only for what they post, newbie or not.

I like all of the mentioned posters. But there are many more just as dedicated to this investment. Lets not forget TenMillion and the others from DD's chat. I am a member of that site too, I use the same handle on all, dinarcimi. You will find intelligent thinking people in every site, you will know these people because they have a level headed approach and never mention date or rate. For the new investors, look to the posters who are grounded and who are examining the factual news, do your diligence and check out what they say from the links that they provide. There are no guru's concerning this investment and none of the so called guru's have achieved that status in my book.. There are those who investigate intelligently and there are those who post without proof. It is up to us to decide who to believe and most importantly form our own decisions. We are the family of Dinarians, no matter what site you may be a member of. There is allot of knowledge in our groups so if you need an answer to something I believe that there are plenty in here or other sites who can give you a good answer, just post the question or look in the archives of this or different sites Go Dinarians! Go Iraq! Go RV! B)

Thank you for the well intended advice. It's Nice to see ppl. help point us newbs in the right direction.

I will have to admit though, some of the trash is hilarious and I find it quite entertaining. Yet my primary focus is to learn more about my investment.

Thanks again!

Just remember, none of these individuals should be the oracles from which all your truth flows. Your own intelligence is still your best bet. Don't look for truth from those "in the know" as much as reason. That will help you identify good associates. It can frequently be difficult or even impossible to know what is true, but the use of reason and sound logic will always identify those with whom you should engage.
