اMet with Minister of Industry and Minerals Ahmed Nasser Daly Karbouli in the ministry's headquarters, Mr. Stephen Rimmermmthel the World Bank in Baghdad to discuss a number of issues, including contributions to the World Bank in the development of public and private sectors and the adoption of practical solutions to promote them.

He outlined the Minister in the meeting which was attended by Deputy Minister for Corporate Affairs Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed and Mr. Chancellor Saviour pristine and the reality of the industrial sector in Iraq, stressing the importance of the process of economic transformation from a centralized economy to a market economy or free economy and in spite of the importance of this shift, but he has been subjected to many problems for many reasons including the difficulty of the current situation in Iraq and the deteriorating security situation in general over the past years in addition to the shortfall in information-based decision-making 0 and the Minister pointed to the importance of private sector's role in the transformation process under way and the need to provide the necessary support Lhz sector, its institutions and all its employees and the development of their capabilities to achieve the levels that qualify them to provide backing and support of the public sector and to engage with him in the investment projects.

He expressed his desire to focus on giving successful solutions to current economic problems rather than relying on theories that do not fit with the Iraqi reality.
