Popular Post Rayzur
These are hard times for most of us. In some cases its downright desperation for some. I think many of us look for something.. any little thing…. that is real.... in hanging onto hopes this investment will come to fruition. It seems that's why many of us are here. And for some, I know you are hanging on to every word written for some glimpse of reality that this is happening now if not very soon. I know there are those out there who have come onto hard times so dire, that this RV is a matter of whether or not they will have a place to sleep or food to eat in the coming months. Its not that you spent your last penny on hope.... but more so... hope that your last penny spent way back when, will save you from the oncoming burden of not having rent money. My heart goes out to you, and this must be nerve wracking in ways I am Blessed to have not known. Hanging on to this hope only to have it dashed into a million pieces every time we blow past a date, or find a quirk in a link, or have evidence of the contrary..... every time that bit of hope lightened your heart with joy, ..... it is now probably just that much more disappointing, or frightening, or even angering that we are left with exactly the same thing we started with before reading..... no real information… A complete lack of certainty as to what is really happening, when it will happen, and how much will it impact our lives financially when it does happen. There have been endless admonishments about only spending what you could afford. I haven’t really noticed that many posts suggesting that if you are waiting for the dinar to RV any moment so as to save you from financial disaster… you may want to consider an alternate plan. And no…. no…. I am not saying it won’t RV/RI any day now. I am saying that if your well-being depends upon that, you may want to pursue other options beginning now. If you are holding off seeking a job, you may want to submit applications now. If you have sent out a ton of applications and aren’t getting replies, you may want to go put in applications at places you would “never consider working” be that McDonalds, Burger King, WalMart. I don’t know, just places you would not have previously considered. And I am NOT knocking those places…. they are just some I would have not considered in my initial attempts to find employment. You can always quit that job when it does RV, and in the meantime, you have become a bit more responsible in taking care of yourself and your needs. Sitting in front of this computer will not feed or house you in the event the RV is longer than what you need. This is addictive in the same way gambling is addictive….Intermittent reinforcement. Think of it this way….you’ve put a ton of nickels** into the machine (time spent reading the forums all day), hoping to hit the big jack pot (hoping for confirmation of RV/RI and rate). And just as you are getting disgusted at winning nothing (reading anything of real value or confirmation)…. you put in one last nickel before walking (you read one more set of forums before swearing off and going out to find a job)…. And what do ya know, that nickel hits a tiny pot and 50 nickels spit out (one of the gurus spits out something that is exactly what you wanted to hear… and it looks like that RV/RI is going to happen within days). What do many many people do? Stand at that machine and put in another nickel (read a “bit” more to get even further confirmation this will happen “tomorrow”). Therein lies the emotional roller coaster, the ups and downs, the winning and losing. In many ways, this emotional ride is as real as if you were standing in Vegas. I know there are some who say “just sit back and relax” and if your well-being does not depend upon this RV … cool. However, if you cannot afford shelter and food in the next month or two unless this does RV, then I would suggest the opposite and you get out of that chair and go get a job now if you don’t have one, or do what you have to do to make ends meet until someone tells you the CBI has posted a rate. You can always quit. Your emotions may well ride the edge of this exciting unfolding, but your well-being is not in any way served by waiting in front of the computer on the edge of financial disaster resulting in your homelessness because you were convinced RV was around the corner. Who knows? Maybe it is. Just don’t let your hopes for that possibility put you in a place of unconsciousness wherein you ignore your responsibility to take care of yourself in providing for the well-being of you or your family right here and right now. ** PS I know most machines are now on cards and no real money spits out…. This is just a faster way to a quick analogy. God Bless… 25

Thor363
+1 from me. That's exactly what needs to be read and re-read over and over again. It's one thing to purchase Dinar, and another thing to get obsessed with it. I just wanted to say thanks for writing that, too often it's too easy to get off track and ignore the responsibilities of life, including staying on a development path for career and paying proper attention to family (for those that have family). Thanks!!!

PacoTaco
Great Post! I think we would all be surprised at the amount of IQD investors that have put their life on hold one way or another cause of intel/rumors were posted that it would be 2009...2010...2011...2012! Anyway great post to keep and go reread often.

TennesseeCherokee
Great post Rayzur ... Remaining grounded will help prevent the panic attacks, manic episodes and depression. Knowledge & faith tells me that an RV has to happen . It cannot be much longer. IMO, Iraq cannot function as a democracy when their currency is worth next to nothing. They have the collateral and will begin to turn a starving nation into a flourishing one very soon. Blessings to all !
andy3978
I didnt quit any job, not yet anyway we'll see this week ha! I figured that throwing $2k at the Dinars wouldnt hurt. That $2k wasnt going to change my life any bit at all...still had enough money in reserves to take the chance. However...that opportunity to take a small amount of money and have it parlay into millions (Hopefully), well I wasnt going to miss out on that. Sure as hell as I said no to it, the RV would happen and I'd throw myself into traffic!. Fact is, either they RV and I make my fortune or they turn into expensive imported toilet paper...i'll write it off as an investment loss. either way it's a win-win

tevye02
Great post - +1 from me and I hope many read this if they are in a tough situation. More importantly I hope some read it before getting themselves in to a tough spot. I would hate to think of someone not paying their bills to invest in this but I would also hate for somone to bail and then RV happens. Tough spot to be in. Each individual's call but Thank God I am not in that situation! Just my 23.4 dinar
