unclegeek
The rv will likely be early next week. Budget is one reason. Iraq thinking is the other. When was the last time they did something before the deadline? But unless they can convince the imf, all their contractors, the forex, and all other financial systems that up date Jan1 to wait while they squabble- it will be done on the 27th- 29th. Imho. Besides, shouldn't Christmas be about family and not money?

It appears that it has not. The Kurds walked out en masse after the first reading. A delegation from Kurdistan is headed to Baghdad in the next few days to meet with Maliki to discuss the problems.... I've searched all recent articles and there has been only one reading of the budget and it was not received well by the Kurds.... If there has been a 2nd reading of the budget, this article does not state that.
