An advisor of the Central Bank Mzarsaleh that the bank is seeking to restructure the currency to suit the economic development., “Said Saleh (of the Agency news) today:

We will resort to the restructuring of the currency to suit the new situation and economic progress, noting that the currency is growing day by increasing Alatnag and economic progress, not because of inflation and release as before.

He added: that the value of the Iraqi dinar escalate, and this rise has achieved a major goal in addition to the purchasing power of the dinar rose to the value of imports.

Saleh explained: Ann’s central bank plans to maintain the value of the Iraqi dinar and the essence of monetary policy, which we have adopted the stability of the overall level of prices.

Salih noted that the exchange rate the Iraqi dinar and foreign currencies is the external value of currency, where the value of internal and external value, explaining: the external value is important for the economy of oil-exporting countries and importing of goods of the many, as we believe that monetary policy is part of the targeting of inflation and raise the purchasing power of the Iraqi dinar .

one thing that makes me question the validity of this article are the "tags" .... I mean, really the author of this article would put those tags in there? Why? I certainly don't have the answer, but it definitely raises a red flag with me.

I know you've played the game of "Tag" when growing up, Susan? That was my favorite game! Well, what I see is all of those words mean almost the same and when the word (will resort to the) restructuring is tagged (of the currency to suit the new situation) it follows the thought of tearing down to the foundation as in converting to the lower denoms and removing the higher denoms, and then building the foundation or the value of the lower denoms back up! See how easy that was to understand.

This is just one Gi-normous pat himself and Shabs on the back. If you read between the lines and understand his past posts...He seems to be alluding to the fact that the CBI's monetary policy and the number they arrived at (around the 1170 mark) was a good number that he and Shabs chose way back when. He is saying with their monetary tightening and reigning in of inflation policies, along with the fall of other foreign currency's values, it has made imports cheaper even though the exchange rate has not gone up. Thus purchasing power has increased.

He is saying the economy is growing and not because of inflation or currency release (printing of more Dinar as they have in the past). Unfortunately, Saleh is an important figurehead in Iraq and a voice for Shabibi himself. It is similar to when a Senate majority leader comes out and gives a brief comment in the US. This maybe why they are not selling anymore in the auctions. They feel that Dinar holdings might be a better return than the dollar? Plus foreign currency is coming into the country through investment at an increasing rate naturally. Who knows.
