Sage449
God promises in the Bible that He hears and responds to our prayers. In 1 John 5:14 it says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” Jesus, we lift an urgent plea for those directly in the path of this hurricane. You calmed the Sea of Galilee with a couple words. You have the power to calm any storm in our lives. Protect people who are in harm’s way, provide ways out and safe places to stay while the storm rages. Keep loved ones, pets, and rescue workers safe from harm. In your saving name we pray, Amen. 2

RodandStaff
As a North Carolina resident we appreciate all your prayers! We were fortunate to just miss the worst of Florence, however those along the coast will have years of rebuilding their lives. There are many ways folks can help...prayers of coarse, but putting feet to your prayers helps on a whole nother level. Just a reminder during times of catastrophe...be careful who your donations go to that the recipients receive the bulk of those donations! I’ve always stuck my neck out to support the Salvation Army as I’ve worked with them shoulder to shoulder and can vouch for them...they are the real deal and I can’t think of any better place to donate if your in a position to help out with the recovery process. Im finding it hard to believe but some people are actually pointing fingers of blame but I’m reminded that the rain falls on the just and the unjust...and we can all have an impact on showing love and compassion in the midst of some folks greatest hour of need. Just sayin’! 👍🏼 Edited September 19, 2018 by RodandStaff 1 1

Those that stayed were warned you’ll be on your own...it didn’t matter the skin color...the rescuers couldn’t get to them safely! When things did settle down a bit everyone was helping everyone...they are all neighbors!
