BAGHDAD - Central Bank sales of foreign currency rose to $ 172.25 million on Sunday, against $ 165.99 million last Thursday, or $ 6.26 million.

The bank said in a statement received by "Iraq News", that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 33 banks, and one company only for financial transfer."

The statement added that "these sales are the results of an auction on Monday," explaining that "the total sales totaled 207.35 million dollars."

"The volume of funds sold to boost bank balances abroad was $ 169.99 million, while total cash sold was estimated at $ 37.35 million," he said.

He added that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price." Finished

The central bank's foreign currency sales fell to $ 162.26 million on Monday, against $ 172.25 million on Sunday, at $ 10 million. 

"The exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 32 banks, and one company only for financial transfer." 

The statement added that 'sales are the results of the auction on Tuesday,' explaining that 'total sales totaled $ 195.36 million'. 

He added that 'the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to 161.02 million dollars, while the total amount of cash sold at 34.35 million dollars'. 

He pointed out that 'the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price'.

The Central Bank of Iraq sold more than $ 187 million in the sale of foreign currency today.

"The total amount sold today amounted to 187 million 702 thousand and 584 dollars, with the participation of 34 banks and one company," the central bank said in a statement received by the news agency Puna News.

He explained that "the total sales for purposes of strengthening the assets abroad (remittances and credits) amounted to 156 million and 902 thousand and 584 dollars, while the total sales cash 30 million 800 thousand dollars."

The sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad and selling cash, the price of 1190 dinars per dollar.

Direct sales of the Central Bank of Iraq from foreign currency, on Thursday, to 182.82 million dollars, compared to sales of 157.902 million dollars Wednesday auction , about $ 24.92 million.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 33 banks and one company only for financial transfer.

The bank said the sales were the result of Sunday's auction, showing total sales of $ 215.02 million.

Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad amounted to $ 182.57 million, while total cash sold was estimated at $ 32.45 million.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad is at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
