No matter who is “named” the next President, I think he will continue to be a driving force in the next phases of Iraq’s development and return to their former status. Make no mistake about this - Iraq suffered a huge setback with Saddam. They have had a long road to make it this far, and the next steps for them should be pretty apparent to anyone that isn’t a complete pessimist. 9-6-2018 Newshound Guru Bloodloch The largest bloc is now called the Reform and Reconstruction Bloc. That bloc contains reportedly 180 members at least, which is enough to achieve the 165 seat threshold for a quorum if they all show up. However, due to the Iraqi Federal Court not yet declaring Reform and Reconstruction as the largest bloc, and lacking the support of the two large Kurdish blocs, they are left with a very thin, 16-seat margin of error to gain a quorum. The clerical leader of Total Reform, Moqtada al-Sadr, has called for an emergency session of parliament between now and this coming Sunday (Sept 9th) for the election of deputies. .. 9-6-2018 Newshound Guru Bloodloch ...Should the quorum not be reached by al-Sadr's Sunday deadline, he is calling on a one-million citizen demonstration to press the issue. In addition, the current Prime Minister Abadi is promising Anbar's leaders their very own Sunni Army if they stand strong in parliamentary support of the Reform and Reconstruction Bloc. Pretty exciting stuff, eh? Let's see what happens between now and Sunday the 9th. .. 9-6-2018 Newshound Guru chattels Article: "Sadr calls for new parliament to convene quickly on Basra" Quote: "We see the disregard by some politicians for what is happening in that troubled province, as they are preoccupied with forming [the largest bloc] that will only be like previous governments and alliances that characterized sectarianism, corruption and injustice." Maliki was quoted yesterday as saying that a "fix" for Basra was readily available. No doubt in an effort to undermine Abadi... 9-6-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat What is REALLY going on behind the scenes? ...They are stalling to settle which is the largest bloc. To get the largest bloc they must include the Kurds. They will need the Kurds in order to get the needed quorum in parliament to get anything done. ...I expect that if they solve the crisis with Kurdistan and the deadlock for the largest bloc, they will then reconvene in parliament prior to Sept 15th. 9-6-2018 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Getting back to the basics of what makes Iraq a solid candidate for ReValuation, don’t forget that they are RICH with Black Gold… OIL. The world runs on that stuff, Iraq has a ton of it, which means they have intrinsic value that cannot be denied. The CBI has announced that they are also adding to their “other” Gold, to the tune of an additional 6.5 tons. I’ll save you the trouble of doing the math… 6.5 tons = 208,000 ounces. Gold is about $1200 per ounce right now, so that’s a value of $249,600,000. (Obviously a little less due to wholesale value, but it’s a lot of money!) Not too shabby of a report for the day, and it shows increasing strength. Good stuff..! That's all for today.....stay happy..!
