The national axis defines the "closest" to the presidency of the parliament and reveals the reasons

The national axis defines the "closest" to the presidency of the parliament and reveals the reasons

 Twilight News

The National Axis, which includes the Sunni political forces, on Thursday, that the closest to the presidency of the new Iraqi parliament is Osama Najafi, specifying the reasons for that.

"The leader of the axis Zafer al-Ani told the news that" Osama Najafi has more chances than others to get the post of speaker of the House of Representatives, and the reason is that the presidency of Nujaifi Parliament was a distinguished period, and it enjoys the confidence of all political forces. "

Al-Ani added that "some blocs may differ with Nujaifi, but they can only respect him because he is honest, courageous and direct and keen on the legislative institution to take its position, and keen on the unity of Iraq and sovereignty and the application of the Constitution, and this is the closest to this position than others."

The Presidency of Parliament announced last Monday, the receipt of the nomination of 8 names for the presidency of the Council to be scheduled to vote in a scheduled meeting scheduled in the 15 of this month.

The names included Mohammed Tamim, Osama Al-Nujaifi, Rashid Al-Azzawi, Ahmad Abdullah Al-Jubouri, Ahmed Khalaf Al-Jubouri, Talal Al-Zobaie, Mohammed Al Khalidi and Mohammed Al Halbusi.

The source told the twilight news that the competition is limited to the first among candidates Mohammed Halbusi, Osama Najafi and Mohammad Tamim.

The Iraqi constitution provides for the dissolution of the positions of the presidential body of parliament during the first session. In the event that the parliament fails to name its governing body, the parliament session is open for fear of entering into a constitutional violation.

After the session, deputies will have 30 days to elect a president (Kurdi) who will receive two-thirds of the votes.

When elected, the president of the country has 15 days to commission the largest parliamentary bloc to form a new government.

The next government faces a major social and health crisis that began nearly two months ago, during which protesters in southern and central Iraq called for improved public services and infrastructure in areas that have suffered a severe shortage for many years, especially in the areas of water and electricity.

I was down in Galveston, my home away from home, for some R&R.   It rained non stop for 4 days.  We are on the sea wall so flooding was never an issue but we didn't get to do too much.

I'm keeping an eye on Florence and I am praying those in low lying areas have evacuated.  My son lives in ATL and he said they are expecting 6-8 inches there.

Thanks for thinking of us down here on the Gulf Chuck.  Appreciate it a lot.   Early Sept. is our toughest time for bad hurricanes.  We still have about a month for Hurricane Season to be over.
