Floridian
What is going on here? First they have "financial inclusion" week and convince the people to deposit their money into the bank and not keep it at home. And now, the bank will not let them withdraw their own money when they want to? Either the bankers are totally crazy in Iraq, or maybe they are trying to keep the 3 zero notes from returning to the streets until they are ready to distribute lower denoms. 1

bkeiller
One commercial bank does not equal all banks? If other banks across the country were doing similar things, that might catch my attention. This could just be a local thief in the bank, or an external digital thief's work? Bad PR for Warka, though!

Laid Back
When a person open a bank account, they get a E-Card. they can use the card on ATM's to get cash and POS to buy stuff. I think the bank don't want to give back to the costumer the BIG 000 notes, like 25,000 10,000 5,000 notes. The banks don't have enough 1,000, 500 and 250 notes for all the costumers because the have a liquidity problem. We should be close to see the real market value of the dinar and lower denominations notes. Go RV Go $1:1 1
