There’s just one big problem with TIME’s cover and accompanying piece — the separation of illegal immigrant families at the border didn’t start with the Trump administration, but occurred under the past few administrations as well, including that of former President Barack Obama.

Thank You for posting, KristiD. I am disappointed You have received Red Ruby Citations for posting such an apt post except that the Red Ruby Citations are for "Display Of Intellectual Speed And Power" and could be considered a Badge Of Honor. I gave You and Emerald, I hope You don't mind.

 

My belief is there are solid reasons for separating illegal immigrant groups. No one knows if the children are actually of the people claiming to be biological parents. Human trafficking of anything from infants on up exists and MUST NOT be facilitated by inept policies pertaining to illegal immigrants of ALL ages.

 

Also, typically, if parents involve their children in a crime, the children are taken away from the parents. In this instance, the parents have entered The United States Of America ILLEGALLY and have forced the children to enter The United States Of America ILLEGALLY. So, it is right that these minors be separated from adults even to protect them from being trafficked.

 

As such, due process for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS is rightly NOT provided AND the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS must be sent back to their country of origin IMMEDIATELY.

 

There are also issues with illegal immigrants pertaining to communicable diseases and crime. Unless foreign individuals migrate legally according to The United States Of America laws and policies, they MUST stay OUT OF The United States Of America.
