Seems from the news (biased factions and unbiased) the elections had little to no effect in terms of overall GOI change, especially Parliament.

 

I for one would like to see anyone but Jubouri around. He seems pretty status quo...

 

The elections are being recanted, recounted, etc.

 

Corruption is deeply woven into Iraqi politics. Abadi and Sadr WANT to move forward, but it seems the powers that be are still holding a ton of stroke.
