MP on the coalition of state law, Nahla al-Hababi, Saturday, the completion of the first reading of the law to cancel the election results in the parliament session expected to be held this evening.

Al-Habbabi said in an interview with "Mawazin News" that "today's session will see the draft law to cancel the election results and then be read again for the vote on it," expected that "the quorum is achieved."

He added that "all deputies must be in the parliament today to vote or rejection of this law," indicating that "who calls for the rights of the people and the fight against corruption is absent from the House of Representatives."

This is scheduled to hold the House of Representatives, on Saturday, an extraordinary session to discuss the parliamentary elections held on May 12 and its aftermath.

He added that "the extraordinary session set by the Presidency of the Parliament this afternoon will be important to build the state," noting that "most of the deputies will attend the meeting and hoped to complete a quorum."

The representative of the coalition of state law Awatif blessing, on Saturday, the presentation of dangerous documents during the session today, "prove" the election of one of the voters on behalf of 100 voters, accusing Prime Minister Haider Abadi, "cover up" on corruption and not refer the Electoral Commission to the investigation.

The MP for the coalition of the rule of law Jassem Mohammed Jaafar, on Saturday, the completion of the quorum for the parliamentary session today, indicating that the meeting will vote on the questioning and dismissal of members of the Commission and the cancellation of the election results.

The House of Representatives failed on Saturday, 19/5/2018 in an extraordinary session, for lack of quorum, and the presidency of the Council converted the session into deliberative, and the Council failed last Thursday to hold an extraordinary meeting for the same purpose after the quorum.

Democracy only works if people elected can put aside their personal greed and hatred of each other, and do the right thing for everyone. America is starting to fail in that, and Iraq is clearly failing. In the end it's a choice between democracy and a tyrant. If enough people don't act grown up enough, you end up with a tyrant. Iraq is at a fork in the road, and must choose democracy, and actually make it work, by painful power and money trade-offs and compromises. If not, their choice will end, and it's back to Saddam.
