The Central Bank of Iraq (CBE)'s foreign exchange sales rose to $ 127.69 million on Sunday from $ 113.69 million on Thursday, a $ 14 million increase.

 

The Central Bank, in a press statement received "Trend Press," the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 37 banks, and one company only for financial transfer.

 

The bank said the sales were the results of the auction on Monday, explaining that the total sales for the day amounted to 173.23 million dollars.

 

The volume of funds sold to boost bank balances abroad was $ 126.19 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 1.5 million.

 

The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price.

Can almost imagine that the sale of foreign cash will skyrocket, with the new leader ship voted in !  I hope sadr actually has the idea that Dinar is king ,  ( as sadr was a powerful force against foreign troops , I hope he has somewhat same agenda to get the dinar back to what it was )

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign currency sales rose to $ 137.47 million on Monday, from $ 127.69 million on Sunday, to $ 9.78 million. 
"The exchange rate reached 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 37 banks, and one company only for financial transfer," the Central Bank said in a statement read by the economy news. 
The statement said that "sales are the results of the auction on Tuesday," noting that "total sales for the day amounted to 190.72 million dollars." 
Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 135.17 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 2.3 million. 
The Central Bank, according to the statement, "The sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price."
