UNAMI coming in to pin the tail on the Maliki donkey for the fall of Mosul, acquiring 50 billion to line his pockets, aiding and abetting Iranian 'diplomacy' in the region, and threatening to start a civil war if he didn't get a position in the government. Hmmmmm ... if it looks like terrorism and smells like terrorism ...?

The only way to get the donkey is from the outside, it appears.

Likely, UNAMI will make the call and it will be exported to the Hague for war crimes. So, give it a few years!?

The UN Security Council unanimously approved in September at a meeting of world leaders a resolution put forward by Britain after a year of talks with Iraq. The UN Security Council then asked UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich to form a team "to support local efforts" to hold militants accountable.
UN experts warned in June 2016 that the Da'id organization was committing genocide against Yazidis in Syria and Iraq with the aim of eliminating that religious minority through murder, sexual slavery and other crimes.
Guterich told the Security Council in a letter that the UN team led by British lawyer Karim Asad Ahmed Khan would begin work on August 20.
Guterich announced in May that he had been appointed Khan after the Security Council endorsed the terms of reference and limits of the team's work in February. He said in a speech published Thursday that Khan had visited Iraq this month.
In accordance with the United Nations resolution of 2017, the use of evidence collected by the Panel in other areas such as international tribunals is "determined in agreement with the Government of Iraq in each case." The evidence added that the evidence was collected mainly for use by the Iraqi authorities and then "competent courts at the national level."
International human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, along with Nadia Murad, a young Yazidia who has been enslaved and raped by gunmen in Mosul, has long been trying to persuade Iraq to allow UN investigators to help.
The militants of the al-Daqash organization, which controlled vast swathes of Iraq and Syria until last year, have suffered successive defeats in the two countries against campaigns backed by international alliances, forcing them to flee into desert areas and enclaves.
