I have said in my previous post that Iran is going invade Iraq. Look what is developing now in the news, Iran just entered Basra and other cities to supposedly stop the protests(just more bloodsheds)...

If this be the case, could be war -if so,  then you can forget any chance Of RV for the foreseeable future. No telling when there might be a RV.

I thought it prudent to RV well ahead of the elections-however, with recent actions we see the CBI was hamstrung with restrictions we knew nothing about. Question: did this play any part in the continuing delay to RV ?

Are there still other unknowns hampering the CBI or is this just a great big foot dragging FUBAR by the Iraqis that didn’t see this coming ? Sure looks like the crooks played the right hand dealing from the bottom of the deck.

Calls of fraud, months on the recount, “ mystery warehouse fire 🔥 the “ the the lights went out in Basra “ it became all too clear what was going to happen next. They didn’t see this coming ?????????????????

Is the political will there with Abadi & Sadr ( & others ) to take back control ?

Always more questions than answers with this lot, aren’t there ?

After the parliament voted on the third amendment law of the electoral law and the recognition of the Federal Court, the situation went towards the partial counting and manual counting of stations in question in some of the provinces that have been identified in accordance with the complaints submitted by the political blocs of the judiciary. The House of Representatives then convenes extraordinary and extraordinary sessions to topple the Council of Commissioners The results of the elections according to partisan interests, according to some MPs and members of the Commission itself.
The Council of Ministers was in the process of discussing the same thing, where he ordered the formation of a ministerial committee to uncover the circumstances of fraud and audit appeals and reports of the intelligence and national security and integrity on the health of the transfer in this regard, as it proved that manipulation in the electoral process leads to the need to exempt members of the Board of Commissioners of their duties and mandate A new council of "judges" is responsible for recounting and manual counting to ensure the fairness and fairness of the results.
At this stage, it is known that the alliance of the followers of Sadr's leader Muqtada al-Sadr is the winner of the elections with 54 parliamentary seats followed by the second opening led by Hadi al-Ameri 47 seats and in third place came the "victory coalition" led by the current Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, and received 42 Seats and the fourth coalition of the rule of law with 26 seats led by Nuri al-Maliki, and preliminary results of the provinces that have been counted and sorted manually indicate that no major change will occur as they came in a large identical.
The conflict is very fierce between the foes Muqtada al-Sadr on the one hand and Nuri al-Maliki on the other, where they compete to form the largest bloc to lead the trip in the next four years, in addition to the receipt of many statements to the figures within the others on the failure to accept the alliance with the rule of law and rejected any mediation to prevent Without this decision, both of us refuse to turn to the opposition and not to participate in the government, according to political sources.
This comes amid a shuttle tour by the delegation of law allied with the "conquest" on the Kurdish parties such as the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Massoud Barzani and the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the purpose of persuading the Kurds to join the coalition, which seeks to form and not the alliance of Sadr, taking from the number of seats a point of strength sees It brings the enemy and his friend, as his spokesman Abbas al-Moussawi said in a statement, "We refuse to put Vito on us by any party and our doors are open to all," in reference to the statements of opponents.

According to informed sources, for / Mawazin News / "Maliki recently held several meetings and meetings and the most recent meeting in secret with the leader of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi to discuss the largest parliamentary bloc and the formation of the new government," noting that "the President of the National Alliance confirmed during the meeting, A problem in the alliance with the conquest and the rule of law "
The sources pointed out that" the coalition of the rule of law to hold political alliances undeclared with Sunni forces such as Karbala and Ahmed Jubouri (Abu Mazen), "noting that" Maliki did not put a veto in front of the alliance with any personality, Coalition decision Khamis Khanjar ".
For his part, said Alliance Alsron allied with the conquest, that "these moves fate will be failure," noting that "talk now is about the coalition of the rule of law and the alliance to open the largest bloc."
He said a member of the Alliance of Samer Ayman al-Shammari in an interview for / Mawazin News / "The coalition of al-Maliki and al-Amiri that happened will not affect the efforts of Moqtada al-Sadr in the formation of the largest bloc," citing the "few members of this alliance, in addition to understandings between Sadr and other blocs Whether Sunni or Shiite. Adel Abdul Mahdi: Changing the seats after re-counting will be a seat or two seats

1772018211928333.jpg

+ -

NRT

"The change in the number of seats after the re-counting and manual sorting will be a seat or two seats," said former Vice President and former Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, adding that some forces and elements want to benefit from the demonstrations to improve the terms of their negotiations, but to follow the timing and negotiations between Forces, it seems that the demonstrations did not really affect the timing of the formation of the government.

"The timing of the formation of the government is governed by formalities related to the completion of the process of counting and sorting , the President of the Republic is obliged, after the ratification of the court, the call of the House of Representatives within 15 days, " Abdul Mahdi said in a publication on his account of the social networking site "Facebook" today (July 17, 2018) Extendable for 15 days only. "

He added, "It seems from the sources of the Supreme Judicial Council and the Commission that the work of the Commission has ended in most of the provinces, including Baghdad and the Kurdistan region and the south, and remained little and that the process will end in a week or two, and the current results of the funds that have been produced did not reveal a difference only Seat or two seats, but the real thing, is the agreement on candidates for presidencies, especially the prime minister. "

He explained that he "to say that the demonstrations have a direct relationship to the elections, this is reaping the interpretation of events, the demonstrations caused by the basic lack of services and people complain of lack of electricity, water and unemployment, but the position of demonstrations, whether by the government or political forces winning and losing, "These are in turn a factor to accelerate or slow down to achieve formalities, either agreement on candidates for presidencies is crucial in the area of counting and sorting and the ratification of the court and the speed of the call for the meeting of the House of Representatives."

"The external factors may be related to the Helsinki meeting between Putin and Trump, and whether the meeting will bring indications of agreement or disagreement in Syria and the region in general, and the consequent calm or escalation with the regional powers, including Iraq. The interior is related to competition or agreement between two main axes, "The agreement will speed things up, but the difference will remain pending until a final solution is reached, then we can speak more realistically about constitutional contexts."

"There is a big imbalance in the Iraqi elections. As we have mentioned many times, the elections must resolve the issue of the majority whether by interpreting the constitutional article on parliamentary majority or by amendments to the election law or the two of them. When correcting it, the political forces of the coalition will be forced, Before the elections to resolve the people through the ballot box this issue, not to be left to distortions formal and real, and external factors and deals away from the results of the election.

  • Legal: People have the option of changing the government even after its formation

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The constitution allows the people to change the new government even if it is formed and elected by the parliament, legal expert Ali al-Tamimi said on Wednesday (July 18, 2018), indicating that the people have the power to sack the government and parliament and elect new people to lead the country.

"Article 5 of the Iraqi constitution states that the people are the source of the authorities and this article confirms the peaceful transfer of power. Since article 49 states that each deputy represents 100 thousand Iraqi citizens, the people have thus given the parliament an agency to elect its chairman," al-Tamimi said in a statement. The prime ministers, the republic and other ministers and officials. "

He added that "the people gave an agency to the deputies according to the Iraqi constitution and civil law for the power of attorney, so this agency may be withdrawn by the clients, when they find that the executive does not express their will and ambitions, where they have the power to dismiss the government and parliament and the election of a new government.

Al-Tamimi explained that "the principle in Iraq is wrong, because the parliamentary system failed miserably because the fundamentals of this system is the existence of an advanced economy and social welfare and capital, as in Britain, which has a capital and a good economy, so Iraq needs a presidential system, In order to get rid of poverty and civil war and the division brought by Joe Biden. BAGHDAD (

Reuters) - Shiite leaders as head of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, and the leader of the Fatah alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, rejected the initiative of leader of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi to form a government of national "salvation."

"Allawi is moving to form a national (salvation) government led by an Iraqi national figure, but clashes with the rejection of al-Maliki and al-Amiri," indicating that "Allawi was forced after Maliki and al-Amiri refused to submit a proposal to the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr to form a government ) But he also ran into Sadr's rejection of this idea. "

And the negotiations on the formation of the new government, the sources revealed that "all the political blocs are still in place and wait for the ratification of the election results to form the largest coalition that can form the government," pointing out that "mobility refers to the convergence between the coalition of the rule of law and the Fatah coalition and half of the deputies of victory and some forces Sunni and Kurdish, in return for a convergence between the stream of wisdom and the rest and half of the victory deputies. "

According to informed political sources, Al-Ghad Press reported that the peaceful demonstrations taking place in the southern provinces, the central Euphrates and Baghdad, which some of the "Mandates" have entered to change course and cause chaos in Iraq, may push the United States to pressure the Iraqi political blocs to extend the term of Prime Minister (Outgoing) Haider Abadi for two more years.
