Iraqi officials are likely to join the alliance of "victory" and "state of law", to the alliance, " Saroon " - "Fath", which was announced, finally, in the context of intensive dialogues are being conducted to polarize and overcome the obstacles to the integration of a broad alliance, Updated to the Shiite alliance.

According to a senior leader in the "
Sadrist movement ", he spoke by telephone with the "New Arab", "the coalition of the people and the Fatah, continue their dialogues to complete the formation of the largest bloc to form the next government," noting that "intensive dialogues are being conducted to attract the victory alliance led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi , And the alliance of the rule of law led by Nuri al-Maliki. "

The leader of the same eye, "Today there are no red lines on one, Sadr, who was rejecting the idea of alliance with the militias Asaib Ahl al-Haq, (part of the alliance of conquest), has been allied today with them, and the leader of these militias Qais al-Khazali talks with Maliki to enter the new alliance "Noting that" Maliki today stripped of his previous terms, and agreed to be part of the new alliance, and declare it a matter of time. "

He pointed out that "the dialogues are also continuing with Abadi, in this regard, and there is great convergence between the parties," stressing that "this alliance is the new version of the Shiite alliance, and work is being done to annex the blocks that split from the Shiite alliance, one after the other.

For his part, said the leader of the alliance, "conquest", Karim Nuri, in a televised statement, "Iraq's interest is greater than personal differences," adding that "emotions can not be the ruling in the future of Iraq, or have an impact on the data form the government".

He added that "Sadr has all the respect to the leader of the tribes of Qais al-Khazali, and we do not expect any differences between them, because the reality of Iraq is forced them to wrap them for the interest of the country."

With the opening of the blocks of the Shiite alliance on each other, the political process again, to the axis of a Shiite-Sunni-Kurdish alliance, said the MP, "the rule of law," Mohammed al-Ukaili, "The rule of law exists within the National Alliance, which is the basis of it, (Sadr) was outside the coalition, and it seems that attempts to persuade him to return to the coalition has succeeded. "

He explained that "the status quo imposed on the winning blocs, is to go back a step back towards the pillars on which the political process was built, a Shiite alliance, a Sunni alliance, and a Kurdish alliance, but this time with high pragmatism."

The Iraqi "Communist" party resolved its position towards the "Al-Fath" alliance after he was hesitant.

The party said in a press statement: "While acknowledging the fact that any political alliance does not necessarily negate the differences in thought and in some political positions, we emphasize as a Communist Party and as a party in the other, we sought through this alliance, in cooperation and coordination with the rest of the parties, Consistent with the outline of the others, and his cross-sectarian orientation, towards unified action to form the largest bloc, to form a government on the basis of competence, integrity and patriotism.

Observers confirm that the revival of the Shiite alliance again, will return to Iraq to square one, and will have bad repercussions on the Iraqi political scene.

The legal expert Abdul Sattar al-Mashhadani, the "new Arab", that "all attempts to guide Iraq towards the civil state, failed," noting that "

He pointed out that "the next stage will be a dangerous stage on Iraq, and will return to marginalization and exclusion and repercussions, again."

It is noteworthy that the alliance, "Saroon" got 54 seats in the recent parliamentary elections, while the alliance won "the conquest" on 47, and the alliance, "victory" on 42, and "the rule of law" on 25, and "wisdom" 19 seats.

Barzani comments on the alliance of the conquest and the rest
[Ayna-Baghdad] The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Vice President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (NDP) Nigervan Barzani, commented on the Fatah alliance led by Hadi al-Amiri and others led by Sadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr, announced on Tuesday.
Barzani said in a press statement on Wednesday that "this is a positive step, any convergence between the parties and the Iraqi lists at this time is positive," noting that "the solution to these circumstances is not limited to the alliance between the two lists, it must be a broad and comprehensive alliance; To be able to reach a radical solution to the problems of Iraq, and to feel all components as a partner and partner in the management of Iraq, and that the rights of all reserved in accordance with the Constitution.
"Iraqi citizens should have the civil, political and service rights set forth in the Iraqi constitution by forming a broad and strong coalition," he said.
He pointed out that "Iraq in order to be able to solve its problems, and in order to be able to implement the next government of the Constitution, and in order to feel all components that are involved in the management of Iraq, must form parties and lists winning in the elections a broad and strong alliance."
On the direction of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the political process, explained Barzani, "The current partnership in positions between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the National Union is important; but as we said, the winning lists should meet in the region and have a common agenda and dialogue with the parties winning in the Iraqi elections on Founded our rights in the Iraqi constitution. "
"We do not want to be part of any coalition without a clear vision of the platform of that coalition in terms of the participation of other lists and the protection of the rights of all components, especially the rights of the people of Kurdistan and the region as contained in the Iraqi constitution. Abadi's defines the way out of the election crisis and calls for a meeting on the HIGH LEVEL

Abadi sets the way out of the election crisis and calls for a meeting on the "high level"

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi on Thursday called on leaders of the political blocs to hold a "high-level" meeting after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

"We are facing the challenge of preserving the country, but we are confident of passing through this difficult phase," Abadi said in a televised address.

"Despite the election violations, the legal and constitutional methods are the only way to solve the problems and move towards the formation of a new parliament and a government that will emerge from it," he said.

Abadi stressed that "not to allow manipulation of citizens' voices and acceptance of fraud."

He called on Abadi to hold "responsible meetings to agree on the next program of the state departments in all its institutions, according to the law, and that the program is intended to meet the aspirations of citizens and fight corruption and eliminate it and get rid of quotas."

Abadi called for "political blocs to hold a high-level meeting after the Eid holiday, to protect the homeland and ensure the safety of the political process."

The alliance of the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr, along with the leader of Badr Hadi Amiri, raised several questions about the position of the Sunni and national forces of the coalition, especially that "Sowron and Fatah" form their alliance on a sectarian basis, according to the recipe of politicians.

What further complicated the situation was that the most prominent Shiite party opposed to Iran allied itself with the figure closest to Tehran, after earlier describing Amiri's alliance with Abadi before the election - which was quickly dismissed - as "abhorrent and sectarian strife."

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, announced Tuesday, the alliance between my list "Ssron" supported by the "conquest" led by Hadi Amiri, backed by Iran to form the largest bloc in the Iraqi parliament.

Strong strong smell of Iran, strong smell of Maliki... I guess even Sadr gets a taste of politics at the top. So easy to be the “Couch Quarterback”. Now he is a puppet with the best of them. All of his followers will loose faith in him after he invites Maliki to join the new “StronG” government... it’s obvious the people didn’t vote for Maliki, yet all ya gotta do is stomp your feet and throw a fit that you lost and all those votes that were cast by the people are thrown to the wind.... 😑

So, OK, maybe I am the eternal optimist but I feel like this is an extreme smoke screen. My gut feel is there will be a host of supporting evidence and then "SUDDENLY" it is all done. I suspect things could easily start by July 1, 2018. I am not calling it, mind You, I am simply stating this is way, way over blown. The clock is ticking for the foreign investors to get in Iraq (not to mention the potential for Sectarian Strife and Civil War) so Iraq really, really needs to make a good showing they are truly worthy of international partnership. Otherwise, Iraq could sink into the Prehistoric/Stone Age. I strongly feel that isn't going to happen so some "outsiders" are going to supply some "encouragements" with their "keester kickers" and so on and so forth.

Just my thoughts, conjecture, opinion and :twocents:
