climber7
This is weird I posted this morning asking what happened to an article I saw that disappeared. Just logged back on to DV and had a notification 2 people reacted to my post asking about it. I clicked on the notification and got a message I wasn't allowed to view content, but my post from this morning is also gone. Could a MOD or someone help me out as to what's happened? Thanks ahead of time.....
pokerplayer
Hi climber7 The reactions you noted were either green upvotes or another of those and does not mean a comment to your original missing post. I was one that gave you a green one as it was a well written legitimate question. I suspect your missing post was moved and or merged with another thread because it was relavent elsewhere or was something already posted by someone else. MODS if I am way off base, please jump in. Hope my answer makes sense climber7 pp

That is why you can't see it. If a post disappears, it could be hidden or merged with a similar topic. The best why to find these posts if they aren't hidden is to go to the member's content page that made the post and look for it there.

Thanks for the help Topics and posts that are hidden can be seen by Admins and Moderators. A topic or post may start out hidden because the member's post are being reviewed prior to being approved for public consumption. Or they are hidden because the Admin or Moderator believes there is a violation of the forum rules or believes it may interfere with the overall health of the website. (ie conflicts between members or members and staff.) I wasn't involved in the posts being hidden in your case so I'm not sure of the specific reason... Hope that clears things up.
