Nobody is conveniently forgetting anything, other than the Conservative Republican Party of Fiscal Responsibility....You certainly haven't forgot Obama's massive contribution to our mountain of National Debt....But now all of the sudden, adding 4.5 Trillion dollars to that mountain of debt with the stroke of a nuclear pen seems equitable because, well, Republicans are calling the shots....come on man, at least recognize and admit the hypocrisy being perpetrated against us all.

You are right about the hypocrisy, neither side can or won't curtail SPENDING, which is the root cause of all our fiscal problems. Reagan's tax cuts fill the federal coffers with $$ and it was all spent and then some. And the same thing is happening here. The tax cuts and the increased taxes coming from more people working will once again bring in more revenue and it will be spent on ANYTHING to buy votes especially the Dems. And the Repubs piss me off also because to many of them are not fiscally responsible either. They live the "Vita Loca" and we pay the bill.

Agreed.

Mubasher : The US budget deficit fell last June on an annualized basis, but recorded a 16 percent increase in the first nine months of this fiscal year.

The US Treasury Department said Thursday that the US budget deficit hit $ 74.9 billion last month, compared to a deficit of $ 90.2 billion in the same period in fiscal year 2017.

Analysts had expected the US budget deficit to hit 92.3 billion dollars last month.

Data showed government revenues fell to $ 316.3 billion in June from $ 338.6 billion in the same period in fiscal year 2017.

Expenditures also dropped to $ 391.1 billion in June, compared with $ 428.8 billion during the same period in fiscal year 2017.

The deficit in the first nine months of the fiscal year, which began last October, was 607 billion dollars, compared with a deficit of 523 billion dollars in the same period of fiscal year 2017.

By 6:20 pm GMT, the major dollar index, which measures the performance of the currency against six major currencies, rose 0.09% to hit 94.801 dollars.

Glad spending was lower.... Now find a way to increase revenue and we might make some real progress...

First Win for Trump-Putin Summit: Agreement to Restrain Iran in Syria

President Donald Trump has been criticized by the media and by Beltway politicians of both parties for his meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki on Monday. But the summit has already produced a very significant win: namely, agreement to avoid a war in the Middle East by restraining Iran in Syria.

Senate GOP breaks record on confirming 23rd Trump pick for key court

That breaks the previous record set by President George H.W. Bush, who got 22 appeals court judges confirmed during his administration's first two years.
