US Warns Hashd al-Shaabi to Not Target Its Forces in Iraq

ERBIL — The United States has warned the Iranian-backed militias of Hashd al-Shaabi about any possible military move against the US forces across Iraq, a source claimed. 

A political source, quoted by the Iraqi media outlets, said that the United States has made it clear that they would promptly respond if any such attacks target the US military advisors, traders and diplomatic missions in Iraq. 

The source however said that the militia groups operating under the umbrella of Hashd al-Shaabi are not likely to practically conduct any offensives against the US forces.

Earlier several times, different Iranian-backed militia groups issued threatening messages, claiming that the US forces are not welcome in Iraq for a long time, and that they are required to leave the country after the defeat of IS.

Pretty sure it is the Iranian militias that ARE NOT welcome in Iraq and WILL BE the ones required to leave and actually WILL leave.
