I went the the "alternate" CBI site today and I think something is different.  Not sure, but I don't remember seeing a decimal in the Euro figure before.  I noticed one today.  Am I right, or is this wishful thinking?

US Dollar USD 1.2
EURO EUR 1.08565
British pound GBP 1466.129
Canadian dollar CAD 876.741
Japanese yen JPY 11.156
Norwegian krone NOK

141.862

https://www.google.com/search?q=yen+to+usd+chart&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari

whats interesting is that test site shows the IQD

as 1 IQD to 11.76 Yen

1 UsD equals 106 Yen

Thsrefore that site is showing IQD about .09 cents in Japanese yen terms......

just thought it interesting since the other day it was 8 1/2 cents on some converters.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  I was trying to convert all the currencies shown by moving around the decimals to see if any consistency would show up.

Very time consuming.  I keep getting distracted by phone, texts, etc.

Lol... I hear ya.... I don’t think there is a rhyme or reason to them but it is interesting that they wouldn’t have the official rate on the test site and that they’ve left it up for all to see.... not really trying to hide that a change is coming I guess

So Bruce has a site where he’s playing peekaboo with the rate or something else......

I know now this is the rumor section but can we get a link!?

Lol...... Nevermind we’ll all get viruses on our computers if we click the link

old article but nice to read

was just messing around on currency exchanges

thanks guys and gals

The old dinar was worth $3.20 before the United Nations embargo that followed Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990. By August 2002, the dinar had plummeted to a fraction of a penny. Speculators are betting that given Iraq's potential as an oil-driven economy, the dinar could rise to a value of $1 to $3.Nov 15, 2012

One iqd equals 11.76 yen. One dollar equals 106 yen.11.76x106= 1246 iqd/usd. It’s the rate of 1.2 to UsD that’s got me salivating

Dang!!! Now I have to buy yen to swap dinar to dollars??? Okay if that's all it takes count me in!!! Its a tsunami I tell you!!!

Just a thought peeps.

Could this have been a planned "temporary" rate change for some whales to cash in during the open window before it closed again.

Great question

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

If this is what happened--wouldn't the rate had to have changed on the official CBI site also?
