cbi offical website ?

  T,he cbi webpage was the same  for many years ,same pictures ,same format . Now it seems to change frequently . In the past ,the category , "banknotes and coins " was  readily apparent on the right side of the page . Now it has seems to have disappeared . Why would they do that ?

I always check the regular CBI site and the alternate, every morning.  

Well, I think they took the alternate site down.

Today, it says the page can't be opened because Safari can't find the server.

 

Hoping this means something good.  

Maybe they finished whatever they were working on and are ready to integrate it into the official CBI site.

Also, the alternate CBI site is the one that said the dinar was 1.2 to the dollar.

JB , How did you find this  ?  I clicked on cbi website ,and still cannot see info on current banknotes and coin .  Page 89 on search bar came up with " no results found " .  cbi  website also showed  "no results found "  when I searched for bank notes

Comes up for me now, too.  Tried several times this morning and it did not come up.

They are fiddling with the site, probably.  I hope it means something good.  

[Synopsis]

The site didn’t come up for me either earlier but does now. Selecting English then going to the CBI Currency Auction page, the date on the currency auction still shows 14Nov2016.

 

The currency conversions on the main page appear to be the same as before.

 

Could be somethin’ or could be nothin’.

 

Hope it is somethin’, though!!!

Remember ,when back in the day, when we herd all these reports??? that the U S contractors were getting paid ,has anybody ever herd???? How they got paid ??in what kind of currency ?? I would think that the rebuilding is going on and the contractors are not going to float along without getting paid. Any contractors over in Iraq that could might answer that?????

 Now the CBI website appears to be  messing with my head  .When you go to the scroll  at the top of the page and click on work shops pertaining to the buying and selling of foreign currency , you read such a gobble d goup of crap like you've never heard .
