So it seems that the very people who are telling us that we need to remove guns from America because there is a chance that some pshycho might get his hands on an AR-15 and walk into a school and shoot the place to H3!!, are the same people who also tell us we need to let the police and law enforcement protect us. How ironic!

 

Then we find out that after the FL School Shooter opened up and started firing, the only school resource officer took up shelter outside one of the entrances to the school. Two police on patrol in the area were called to the scene and took up a secure position outside behind their opened police doors. All the while, inside the school multiple people were being shot, many wounded and 17 dead after a barrage of gunfire lasting over 6 minutes.

 

This is why the citizens of this country can never fully depend upon local law enforcement for protection...they will fail again just as they failed here at the FL School Shooting. If you want to give up your gun to authorities because you feel that it will be one less chance for a tragedy like we just saw, then by all means feel free to make that choice. However, do not spew your self righteous, virtue signaling all over me as I will always believe in self-protection first.
