If these monkeys carve this bill up into seperate bills . . . this will take 5 more years of shoe throwing ?  No, even for these fools they know that can fly. . .something else must be happening here.

WB tells Iraq NOT to accept any type of loans. They nearly drew up Snake Eyes at the conference and if they're not careful they might be holding Aces & 8s ( Dead Man's Poker Hand ) - the Money Tap has pretty much been turned off. Squeeze Play. Something Stupid From Iraq This Way Comes ?

The biggest issue was lowering their share to 12.6%  I knew when they did that all hell would break loose.  Give em  their fricking money and pass the stupid law.  Screw the IMF.  Tell em to stick it where the monkey stuck the peanut.  They are the reason we are in the mess.  It was just fine till they stuck their nose in things.  IMO

Member of the Parliamentary Law, summarizing the constitutional points to reform the economy

Member of the Legal Committee of Parliament, MP Salim Shawqi, outlined a number of constitutional points that would reform the economy of the country during the current stage
He said in a statement today, "based on Article 25 of the Iraqi Constitution and its text (the state undertakes to reform the Iraqi economy according to modern economic basis and to ensure the full investment of its resources and diversification of sources and the promotion and development of the private sector) and Article 78 of the Constitution, which reads: (The Prime Minister is the direct executive officer On the general policy of the state) we call on the Prime Minister and the government to take a number of points that we consider important at the current stage. "  "The first point is to establish the Iraq conference for Iraq like the Kuwait conference for Iraq. All parties, businessmen and companies at home and abroad and the general public are invited to attend and participate, and open the door to donate grants and loans," he said.

He stressed the need to "encourage savings in Iraqi banks and give incentives to that and to limit those amounts through the Economic Committee in the Council of Ministers and the Central Bank of Iraq."  He added: "A high committee of international and local experts is also set up to plan and develop curricula that rely on clear methodological visions in planning and benefiting from international companies in this field and emphasis on investment projects that will diversify sources of income such as the oil industry, investment in agriculture, tourism and industry. And other revenue. "

He stressed "the importance of merging the draft illegal gain or where you get this submitted by the Legal Committee and the Council of Ministers and unite in a single law and activate the role of public savings and integrity in the follow-up and prosecution of funds that the House of Representatives to enact this law as soon as possible."

Here's an idea......why don't they pass a bill that lowers the quorum requirement?  It would prevent any one party from holding the Parliament hostage.  That way, if a party was trying to stop the passage of a certain bill, they would HAVE to communicate and work with one other to do so - more than likely through quid pro quo ( "if you help stop THIS bill, we'll help you PASS yours"....).

just sayin'.

The return of the first Christian to the old Mosul and the bodies of the dead fill his destroyed house

عودة اول مسيحي للموصل القديمة وجثث الدواعش تملئ منزله المدمر

17th February, 2018
Returned the Christian citizen Abu Tony , aged 68, to the old area of Mosul , Ayman, for the purpose of rehabilitating his house, but the house was not empty it seems.  "My stay over the past period in Erbil, but my determination to return to the mother city and specifically my home made me see many sudden things," Abu Toni told al-Ghad Press.

He said he was surprised when he saw the bodies but insisted on the need to remove the bodies, indicating that for two days he was looking for municipal cadres and civil defense to raise them, fearing it could be civilians who died during the war.  He pointed out that "the organization is better among three, either Islam or pay tribute or leave and set the Jumah 18 July 2014 days for their departure."  "He left Mosul with his family and neighbors in an attempt to reach Qarqosh, a stronghold of the Christians in Ninewa, but was forced to stop in the Arab neighborhood on the left side of Mosul at a checkpoint. From his neck as well as his family and confiscated all the money with them and estimated at about 30 thousand dollars and gold jewelry before they transferred the wheels of the organization to the outskirts of Karkush.

He said that the price of the rent has weakened his family and also affected them to stop the support of the church, which was stopped after the liberation of Mosul, and deported many of his relatives outside of Iraq, prompting him to search between remnants of old Mosul from his home and church frequented by. There, the Christian old man found nothing but destruction and exhilarating bodies, but insisted on rebuilding his home to set a precedent as the first Christian to return to his home in old Mosul.  "Every day people return and find bodies or bombs in their homes, but we are working with them to return," said Duraid Hazem, an official in charge of exhuming the bodies in the old city of Mosul.  "The first Christian returned to Mosul and found bodies. We, as a local government, have a duty to raise them and provide all the people need here, despite our limited equipment and resources, but we are dealing with everyone, especially the Christian population."

Mosul has registered the return of 70 Christian families but did not prefer to live there later and returned to Qarqosh or Erbil, but is still reaching Mosul. Many families have students at Mosul University or government employees so they decided to stay outside the city.  "The Church is now convinced of the need for Christians to return to their homes, but many are still afraid," said Father Hanna Paul. "There are no signs of a real return to the rights of Christians or help them cross the crisis."  "All the churches, especially the mission and the old ones in Ayman Mosul, are still destroyed and forgotten," he said.  "We call upon all Christians to return not only to the Nineveh Plain (Karkush, Bartala, Bashika, Talkif), but to all parts of the city of Mosul, and the local government will provide them with everything they need," the governor of Nineveh province Nawfal al-Aakoub told Al-Ghad Press.

In Qarqush or as al-Hamdaniyah, thousands of families have returned but still find it difficult to coexist there for fear of similar acts by extremists against min}orities.  The churches of Qirqosh are also better restored than the churches of Mosul, despite the fires that still have their effects on the walls.  But a few cafes, shops and night clubs opened there, as in the Baishika, Bartla and Talev, which are inhabited by minorities.

Old Mosul has churches and monasteries, most notably the time-honored Church of the Hour, but the organization of Christian houses of worship into prisons and centers of the organization's security.  Mosul suffers from a major shortage of services, and local authorities attribute the lack of seriousness of the federal government in support of the province, which makes many Christians prefer to stay in Arbil or Dohuk in the Kurdistan region, despite the lack of material resources.
