I haven’t enjoyed a SOTU since Ronald Reagan as much as I enjoyed Trump’s last night. The Dems looked as though they need to take something for constipation, they just sat there looking pained throughout the evening. They can’t stand this nation to be successful;  they would much rather keep the poor down because it is much easier to control poor people than it is successful ones. Just the new jobs that have been created the past year and the new ones scheduled to be created should have brought every person to their feet. But no, didn’t happen. All jmho.

Even if I don't agree with many of his policies.....Trump does manage to come off as presidential when he sticks to the teleprompter.  Hopefully he doesn't blow it all up with a childish twitter tirade in the next day or two.  As always, just my opinion.

Bama Girl, I could not agree more. It is so funny that last night after the speech that I was thinking this very same thing!

 

I really thought he hit it out of the park! To me, he was very Patriotic and for ALL AMERICANS!!

 

It just burned the democrats up to sit there in the same room. I was trying to figure out if Nancy Pelosi was even alive or was being propped up like Bernie .

Bama Girl I couldn't agree with you more. 

What people fail to understand is that President Trump IS NOT a conservative. It's taken me two years to figure out what he is and that is because we've not 

seen his kind of political temperament for decades. But last night as I listened to his AWESOME speech I remembered hearing talk like that when I was just a little boy growing up in southern Mississippi. And that is when it hit me, President Trump is what used to be called a, "Blue Dog", democrat. 

Someone with high morals and strong beliefs that greatly loves America and ALL HER PEOPLE. 

Anyone that truly didn't like what they heard last night has been exposed for the American Hating, insane people they are. There was literally nothing in that speech that someone who loves America would disagree with. 

Now if your party is more important to you that Your country and your fellow Americans then you would hate that speech. I have NEVER seen a SOTU where so many average Americans who have done amazing things were recognized at one time. Literally, President Trump made every point by showing Average Americans for what they've done. How do you hate that?

What President Trump did last night was to lift up ALL TRUE AMERICANS. And I mean ALL OF US. 

In doing so he also exposed the selfish insane Democrats for what they truly are, ANTI-AMERICAN.

They can cry all they want but they received a death blow last night. I can no longer allow them or anyone that supports them to upset me anymore. 

Trump has rendered them IRRELEVANT. 

 

And for full disclosure I am a staunch hard core conservative constitutionalist.  And I love my, "Blue Dog", Democrat POTUS.

IMO. I don't think any other human being would have been able to accomplish what our POTUS has done up to this point amidst all the bulls*** distractions!

I have so much respect for the man because of this. I can't imagine being in his pisition... he has an amazing ability to rise above the crap and get stuff done! IMO .  His election was a political miracle in my book, and we continue to see things that have been called impossible happen, I wonder who's hand is protecting our amazing USA!!

Members of the destroy-Trump media were desperately attempting to spin the President’s first State of the Union address Tuesday night, but were forced to report on polls that show the vast majority of American’s highly approved of Trump’s primetime speech.

According to CBS News, a whopping 75% of Americans liked what they heard from their Commander-in-Chief, with 25% disapproving.

The figures broke down largely along party lines, with nine in ten GOP viewers saying the address made them “proud” and nearly half of Democrats saying it made them feel “angry.”

“Eight in 10 Americans who watched tonight felt that the president was trying to unite the country, rather than divide it.  Two-thirds said the speech made them feel proud, though just a third said it made them feel safer.  Fewer said the speech made them feel angry or scared,” admits CBS.

The positive feedback gives the President more political capital as the government sets its sights on tackling immigration reform, a hot-button issue last addressed in the 1970s.

Trump outlined his vision for overhauling the nation’s outdated immigration system Tuesday night, saying he was prepared to provide a “pathway to citizenship” for nearly 2 million ‘Dreamers’ in exchange for billions in border wall funding.

I don't like polls, as they tend to be wrong as demonstrated at our last election. However, if Trump gets the Repubs and Independents to move towards him as much as this poll is suggesting, then 4-more-years for Trump.

I loved the SOTU and the liberals were acting so butt hurt and disgusted....They proved the the Thinking American what they really feel about America and the people. Yet every now and then you could catch a glimpse of one single one here or there that just had to Stand and Clap....I think we will be seeing a lot more Resignations coming forward in teh near future.

The Dems have proven that they do not give  a rat's butt cheek about the working citizen or American.  They mock the system by voting to close the government.  I want to see a bill which states when Congress closes the government, which is their place of business, all salaries for Congress AND THEIR EXPENSE ACCOUNTS, are frozen.  I think they would not be free with closing the government and stopping military pay.

Funny thing is that I was just saying to Lady Ashley that the next big thing we're gonna begin hearing from the Dems is how the underlings are going to move to get rid of the Dinosaurs. It's only a matter of time before cooler heads begin to realize that President Trump just offered them everything they wanted.

I have been sickened all day with the Dems response to the Trump SOTU. They have no problem selling their souls to stay in power or in this case, get back into power. The current Democratic Party is NOT the Democrat party of the 40’s and 50’s when they really did try to help the common person. Today, they are Socialist and I pray that they won’t get back into the Congressional majority this coming November.
