The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) announced on Wednesday that it has completed the clearing of the Hamrin Mountains and the Zughitun Valley from pockets that have been completely upheld.

"The 10, 27, 22 and 60 brigades and the Ninth Armored Division were able to complete the clearing of the Hamrin Mountains and the Zghitoun Valley from the pockets of a terrorist organization," said a statement by the Popular Mawazine News.

He added that "the joint forces found stores, weapons, paddles and improvised explosive devices, as well as found a network of serious spending in the valley was completely destroyed," noting that "IEDs were planted on both sides of the road with the securing of the road and open to the movement of cars by engineering teams."

A source in the Nineveh Operations Command announced on Saturday the start of an incursion into the village of Hawija, which separates the areas of Hamam al-Aalil and Qayara, south of Mosul. 

Brigadier Mohammed al-Jubouri said that the joint forces of the army and the federal police and the popular crowd began with a US air support storming the village of Hawija, where dozens of hiding elements of Daqash and their leaders after infiltrating them during the last period benefiting from the forests and geographical area. He has been advocating smart guns since the early hours of the morning. Pointing out that the raid will be supported by Iraqi air support after the removal of the remaining residents of the village through the opening of safe corridors for them. 

Adding that the survival of elements calling in this village and its environs poses a threat to the security of each area south of Mosul.
