Alsumaria News / Baghdad
security source said on Friday that the security forces began to cut off some of the roads leading to Tahrir Square in central Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The security forces imposed, this afternoon, tight security measures and began to close some roads leading to Tahrir Square in central Baghdad."

The source, who asked not to be named, said that "the closure of the roads comes as a security precaution in conjunction with a demonstration in Tahrir Square, which is planned to be launched."

The capital Baghdad has been witnessing weekly and since August 2015, demonstrations in protest against rampant corruption in government institutions, and to hold accountable officials accused of corruption and the implementation of government reforms.

BASRA / Al-Ghad Press:
Demonstrators in Basra renewed Friday their demands to hold accountable corrupt officials, calling for unifying the ranks and not to exploit the sectarian divide between people.
"The hundreds of demonstrators raised the slogans of the unity of Iraq and a revelation on the reform," the correspondent said, "noting that" the demonstration was in front of the building of the province of Basra and included various religious and civil currents. "

The demonstrators called for "the opening of all files, including the crime of Spyker and all other files of corruption, including senior officials."
At the same time, the demonstrators celebrated the Iraqi army on its feast, which falls on Saturday and blessed him with victory over enemies at every time and place, recalling his sacrifices in all the wars he fought.

So Friday protests for 2.5 years. They seem to have a REAL effect, right?? The only thing those GOI idiots will understand is when the people storm the Green Zone and hang a few folks ;)

And with elections just 5 months away, they can make change with their votes. Will they do it?? Doubtful.

KB Totally Agree,   Sadr & The Iraqi Citizens need to rise the heck up and demand shite happens ASAP.

1.  Pass HCL

2.  Pass 140

3.  Lock Up All Corrupt Officials to include Maliki, etc

4.  Return All Stolen Money To Iraqi Reserves

5.  Freeze All Stolen Money Abroad

6.  All Western Countries cancel all loans to GOI & KRG until all issues have been resolved and implemented.

****The citizens and extreme pressure from the U.S.A. and other countries can stop this nonsense from the GOI, KRG, PARLIAMENT, etc
