Warka Bank Interest

I received my INTEREST CAPITALIZATION TRANSACTIONS on my Warka account. Wonder how much the interest will be worth in 2018 after the RV? It sure would be nice if 100k in interest equaled the same in dollars.

Just went to the warka website & when I clicked on online banking, I saw their certificate expired 473 days ago.  Anybody else have this occurred?

Yes, I saw that as well, many times. I've had an account for over10 years. Use you own digression.

I have had an account there for about 9 years. They are slow to respond to correspondence from time to time, but I have always received a reply from them. I have seen the certificate expiration notice also. We have no control of what is going on over there with that bank. All we can do is wait until after the RV or try to withdraw your money and place in another Iraqi bank, if you want money in a bank over there. After the RV, we may have to travel to Iraq to get our money out.

I haven't been able to get a reply from them for almost three years...no matter how many requests I sent in...!

ronscarpa - ask them if they are taking deposits. You might get a response.

I see most times my emails were read between 9am and 11:30 am Baghdad time so I usually try to send my email around 9am Baghdad time. Sometimes I get a response and sometimes not, depending if I'm asking about their services or not.

I got tired of posting and reading - just followed the CBI for awhile.

Turned 75 in December, and figured it will happen when it happens.

Otherwise, still busy as ever feeding the needy - needing more hours in the day.
