Baghdad - Dr. Hamid Abdullah:

A source in the Iraqi presidency revealed that Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, in an effort to oust Prime Minister Haider Abadi from office by any means possible, suggested to President Fuad Masum to dissolve the government of Abadi and postpone the elections in Sunni areas and conducted in Shiite cities.

The source told «Gulf News» that al-Maliki sent a letter to President Fuad Masum, in which he pointed out that the articles in the Iraqi constitution allows to keep the current parliament full members, despite the end of his constitutional work to oversee the elections in the right circumstances and precede the dissolution of the existing government.

Maliki's letter said that the parliamentary session in the Iraqi constitution is four calendar years, starting from the first session and ending at the end of the fourth year. This means that it is possible to start a new parliamentary session without holding elections because the constitution did not stipulate that.

Accordingly, Maliki proposed to the President of the Republic to dissolve the government of Abbadi after the end of its constitutional life in April next year, and the formation of a new government overseeing the elections in Shiite cities and delay in Sunni areas affected by a year or two.

Political sources indicate that Maliki's proposal was in coordination with Iranian parties and with a number of leaders of the armed Shiite factions in order to dissolve the Abadi government and remove it from the decision-making circle and prevent it from completing its government program aimed at pursuing corruption, increasing its popular base and making it a second government. Likely or uncertain.

Maliki and his associates fear that al-Abadi will remain in power for the next four years because he will dismantle Iraq's dependency gradually from Iran and return it to its Arab incubator, which does not appeal to the Shiite forces associated with Iran and executing its agendas in Iraq and the region!

Yes, that seems logical and fair!

...."Morning"...I can appreciate the 'dry humor' sarcasm when it direct shows the absurdity of Maliki's proposal...not to mention the ideology behind this reveals the twisted mind-set of this idiot...

I see Desperation. Once Abadi and Iraq complete all the reforms and they must be close .Maliki will lose all chance of emerging back to his former power . He has less Goons to plant explosives for him to disrupt security .He is desperate now

....This POS knows his politcal-immunity is the only thing saving his sorry azz now...Abadi has given Maliki enough rope to hang himself...

I wonder if Nouri al-Maliki is going to survive the coming "Green Zone Earthquake"???!!!

This may be nearing the last of all this senseless babble from this miscreant and all his cohorts.

I may be mistaken in drawing too many similarities between the Yugoslavian conflict and the Iraqi conflict but I see strong similarities with the Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide Nouri al-Maliki committed, authorized, or otherwise promulgated at Spyker and elsewhere. Well, OK, there was the opening of the door to ISIS in Iraq with the subsequent pain, misery, subsequent Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide, and general loss of life.

Nouri al-Maliki himself and through his cohorts embezzled massive amounts of money out of Iraq.

It is way too convenient for all associated with Nouri al-Maliki who used Nouri al-Maliki directly or indirectly as a puppet to have Nouri al-Maliki tied off with all these crimes Nouri al-Maliki participated in.

Maybe wait to see the results of the "Green Zone Earthquake" that may include international indictments for Nouri al-Maliki and others.

Just my opinion and :twocents:

Go Moola Nova!

:pirateship:
