Iraq's population estimates for 2017 indicate more than 37 million people, the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation said on Saturday, indicating that population growth in Iraq remains high at previous rates.
"Population estimates in Iraq for 2017 indicate that there are 37,139,519 people," the Central Bureau of Statistics of the ministry said in a statement received by Al-Ghad Press. "The rate of population growth remains high at 2.61 "He said. 
He added that "the ratio of male to female at birth was 103.9", pointing out that "the total fertility rate of child per woman of childbearing age 15 - 49 years amounted to 3.96".

Mubasher : Iraq's population estimates for 2017 indicate a population growth of more than 37 million.

The Iraqi Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation said on Saturday that the population growth in Iraq is still high at previous rates, indicating that the estimates indicated the presence of 37.139.519 people, according to (Iraqi News Agency).

It was estimated that the ratio of male to female at birth was 103.9, and that the fertility rate for women aged 15-49 was 3.96%.

The report added that the age of Iraqi males is 71.5 years, while the average age of Iraqi women 75.4 years, and the crude birth rate was 30.1% per thousand people.

The report pointed out that the census of Iraq in 1979 was 12 million people, the 1987 census of 16.3 million people, and 22 million in 1998.

o.k.  a hard look at the numbers now !   37 million people ,  the Iraq government has been dishing out cards and money too  ----  the casualties     of the war  , the  people who have moved from war torn areas , the dead folks  { yes  the dead folks are getting money sent too the living  family ...   just got to keep them dead I suppose  }  multiply this amount with the 37 million and we know about how much is going out of the central bank monthly ,  how much is getting buried in the matteress  ?????

The current population of Kuwait is 4,164,054 with nice cradle to grave benefits , compared to iraq's 37.139.519 people but iraq has more oil and other natural resources than Kuwait ... goi keeps stating ( at least to the kurds) the oil belongs to all iraqi's when and if this all unfolds it'll be a interesting compensation comparison whatever the goi's plan is for the 37 million citizens .... They are buttering our bread everyday now with a lot of interesting news.

 

The Kurds want one word changed within the Constitution now, Elections are on hold til May, Parliament put Emergency Session on hold for hold Article 140 but are having one for Trump on Jerusalem, Abadi is doing his rounds and talking about Corruption and Investment as well as to Reconstruct properly, Corruption files are being opened slowly and action so slightly, monies are going for Reconstruction and the people are being bused back in from refugee camps and the Census is now complete for 2017.

 

I am sure there is more I am missing, but hell, something is up.
