"The Peshmerga forces are part of our forces and have lived it like we have seen all the fighters," Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Wednesday.

Abadi arrived in France on Monday at the head of a government delegation to attend the Paris climate summit on climate and its impact on economic and environmental sectors.

"The Peshmerga fought alongside the Iraqi army and the rest of our forces in the liberation of Mosul," Abadi told a conference on the sidelines of the Paris climate conference.

"There are those who want to differentiate between the Peshmerga and the Iraqi army through the referendum and the army, but we said that the Peshmerga is part of the Iraqis and should cooperate with them."

Abadi ignored the mention of the Peshmerga forces in his speech, in which he declared victory over the preacher, reviving all the forces participating in the fighting except the Kurdish forces.

The office of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi reshuffled the statement of "victory" by adding the Peshmerga troops to the forces contributing to the fighting.

The Ministry of Peshmerga issued a statement, in which he criticized the failure to mention Prime Minister Haider Abadi of Kurdish forces in his statement on the declaration of victory over the organization "Daash."

He also criticized several officials in this regard.

During a speech by Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Sunday evening, he announced the final victory over the organization of the preacher, praised the army and police and the popular and tribal mobilization, but neglected to mention any role of the Kurdistan Region, and Peshmerga forces that participated in the liberation of Mosul, and some areas near the region.

"I salute all the victors: our heroic forces from the army, the police, the security services, the popular crowd, the anti-terrorist apparatus, the air force, the air force, the Peshmerga forces and all the types and formations of our armed forces from the engineering, medical and logistics support," he said, .

Kurdish figures and parties refused to attend the celebrations of victory in Baghdad, in protest against Abadi's disregard for the role of the Peshmerga forces in the war against an oppressive organization, during the last victory speech.

The Kurdistan Region also refused to consider Sunday an official holiday, on the occasion of the end of the war against the organization calling in line with the decision of Prime Minister Haider Abadi, who announced an official holiday on this occasion, but stressed the region to its employees on the official time of all circles.

The relationship was greatly strained between Baghdad and Erbil after the Kurdistan referendum independence from Iraq.

In my humble opinion, there has never been global warming... These so called global warming summits are a cover for the world eleats, ruleing parties, Illuminati, whatever you want to call them to govern the worlds affairs. That includes the World Banks, and the IMF. So? The Iraqi President went to check in with the global powers that be! Hopefully they give him him the  thumbs up for a RV?

Iraq Attracts Foreign Investors as Economy Improves
Iraq Attracts Foreign Investors as Economy Improves

After the announcement of a complete victory over terrorism in Iraq, many countries have already indicated their interest in bolstering economic cooperation with Baghdad, Fallah al-Lami, the UN adviser on the Iraqi economy, told Sputnik.

Al-Lami recalled that in the past few months, “many delegations from government and private companies in Europe and the US have visited Iraq.”

In particular, he referred to a recent meeting between Iraqi Central Bank officials and representatives of Airbus and Total as well as a visit by UK Prime Minister Theresa May and a spate of American companies.

“All this points to the revival of Iraq. After announcing a final victory over terrorism, many have indicated that they want to invest in different areas of the Iraqi economy. Iraq is becoming a lucrative and attractive place for economic cooperation,” al-Lami pointed out.

He said that after the fall in oil prices, Baghdad is in dire need of foreign capital and that Chinese companies have already started investing in the Iraqi economy.

Iraq has welcomed Qatar’s eagerness to invest in its gas and infrastructure sectors as the country seeks to revive its war-hit economy.

A statement by the Iraqi Petroleum Ministry said Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi promised Qatari investors to “ensure all capabilities and requirements for the success in their work in Iraq”.

It said his statement came during a meeting with the Qatari energy minister, Mohammed al-Sada and Qata Petroleum CEO, Saad Sherida al-Kaabi on the sidelines of recent OPEC and OAPEC meetings in Vienna and Kuwait.

According to al-Lami, Iran has become the starting point for the entry of foreign companies into the regional market.

“Previously, Iraq borrowed from the International Monetary Fund. The country’s budget for 2018 stipulates that a strict cost estimate should help Iraqi authorities pay off part of its debt to the IMF.

Al-Lami emphasized that all this will help the Iraqi government restrict “predatory encroachments of foreign banks and companies so that cooperation could become mutually beneficial.”

In 1990, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution against Iraq, which specifically envisaged the use of force in accordance with Chapter VII of the UN Charter. All Iraqi accounts were frozen in line with the resolution.

In December 2016, the World Bank approved a new $1.485 billion aid package for Iraq, aimed at supporting the country’s economy, stimulating private sector growth and supporting job creation.

Yes , yes and Yes!!! I've seen both of them and I am very wide eyed as it relates to how Religion, Politics and Economics control our reality.. and how it is all manufactured from a place of scarcity vs abundance......

Hopefully we can bring an abundance mentality to the area of the world where we each live so that we can help shape ours and our loved ones realities and make the world just a little brighter in our neck of the woods!

Thanks for that Thought.... good reminder.

To the person who was confused to my response to Copper13, I was agreeing with Copper and saying they had an open mind to the Truth... and looked deeper than the surface

do you agree the IQD does have to go international at least?

I have been in it for many years.. And I there have been so many highs and lows that I no longer believe that it is going to have value added to it any time soon. They are comfortable using the dollar and international trading partners and the IMF  are comfortable with trading in the Dollar with Iraq..

ya I totally understand, so don't feel bad

I am just here to see when and if they go International myself, I have no rates, dates or promises myself

inching towards international maybe soon I think, don't know how long, but seems like it will be on the international market someday
