URGENT: Baghdad Municipality holds celebrations tomorrow to mark the victory of the Grand 09/12/2017 21:14

  BAGHDAD / Iraqi National News Agency (NINA) The Municipality of Baghdad will hold mass celebrations tomorrow to mark the announcement of the great victory and the final. 
"The Secretariat of Baghdad congratulates the Iraqi people by proclaiming the great and final victory and liberating all the lands from the bandits," the Secretariat's Directorate of Media and Relations said in a press statement. 

She added: "Various mass celebrations will be held tomorrow within the division of each municipal department of the Secretariat, including the launch of fireworks in the skies of Baghdadand the distribution of sweets and Iraqi media to the security forces." 

She added that "the celebrations of the Municipality of Baghdad will include a number of different events and the presentation of national songs in thegiant television screens and the installation of leaflets decorations and signs on the buildings and mechanisms belonging to it and in bridges and bridges."

Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said Iraqi forces expelled the last remnants of an organization from the country three years after the militant group seized control of about a third of Iraq's territory.

The announcement comes two days after the Russian military announced the defeat of the militant organization in neighboring Syria, where Moscow supports Syrian government forces.
State television quoted Abadi as saying at an Arab media conference in Baghdad that Iraqi forces had regained control of the last areas that were still in the hands of the organization on the border with Syria.

Iraqi helicopter gunships flew over Baghdad carrying the Iraqi flag on Saturday afternoon in what appeared to be training on a military parade to celebrate the victory Iraq is planning to set up in the coming days.

"Commander-in-Chief Haider al-Abadi says that the Iraqi armed forces secured the Western Sahara and the Iraqi-Syrian border in full, which constitutes the end of the war against terrorists, urging those who were completely defeated and expelled from Iraq," the federal government said in its official Twitter account.

"Our heroic forces have tightened their control over the entire Iraqi-Syrian border," Abadi said in a separate excerpt. "We have defeated our unity and sacrificed for the sake of the nation. Long live Iraq and its people."

The US-led coalition, which supported Iraqi forces in the face of the Islamic state organization, congratulated Iraq on victory by tweeting on Twitter.

"The International Coalition congratulates the people of Iraq for their great victory over a supporter and we affirm that we stand by Iraq and the Iraqis and are doing everything possible for a bright future."

Last month, Iraqi forces seized Rawa, the last town that remained under the control of the Islamic state near the border with Syria.

Iraqi forces took control of Mosul, the country's main stronghold, in July in a nine-month-long campaign that won the support of the US-led coalition and devastated much of the northern city.

In September, the militant group also lost al-Raqqa, its main stronghold in Syria, following a campaign by a US-led coalition led by Kurds.

The US president's envoy to the international coalition against Brett McGregk said many believed that it was impossible to achieve the victories achieved by Iraq.

The Swedish ambassador to Iraq, Puntas Melander, told a joint press conference with the governor of Dhi Qar that the Swedish companies are willing to enter the Iraqi market, especially the stable ones. Especially the province of Dhi Qar, which has great investment potential.

The Central Bank of Iraq presented its financial and economic visions and achievements, supported by figures in front of a group of experts and specialists in economic affairs at an expanded conference which was opened by the Babylon Hotel yesterday, the annual conference. The conference discussed the role of the Central Bank of Iraq in achieving financial and economic stability, among the pillars of the sustainability of public debt and financial stability in Iraq and financial coverage and banking performance, as well as the financial merit of the banking sector in Iraq and mechanisms to stimulate the real sector through macroeconomic policies in Iraq .. Several goals, The Bank seeks to achieve this through the discussions of the conference, including strengthening the relationship between the tools of monetary policy and macroeconomic variables and strengthening the role of the financial sector as a channel of transmission of the effects of monetary policy, and create an interactive meeting between officials of monetary policy,academics and In order to determine the mechanisms that monetary policy can adopt in the application of its objectives and benefit from research expertise and its interrelationship with the practical aspect to achieve the strategic objectives of the Central Bank of Iraq. As one sees, these goals are considered a summit in the economic and financial understanding of a country facing many challenges trying to compromise its economies and resources ..

And through the transparency that accompanied the work of the conference on its first day, I wished this event to be a context for the ministries and other bodies. It is important that the efforts of everyone from all social activities, opinion leaders and concerned institutions, and opinion leaders from specialists, In accordance with the principles and foundations of solid, the convergence of visions, and to make observations, and discuss the reality of living with an objective vision, is the key to building the nation, as well as the discussion by the competent authorities, lead to a space of hope in progress, in various directions, and remains the experience of the Central Bank of Iraq in the convening of a general conference, Estimate, for it Affirms a noble and pure human relationship, constructive and rich in feelings between the specialists and the citizens .. The central bank is the safety valve for the family and society.

The Bank, through its well-known functions, has realized that working with the soundness of the needy is a necessary necessity, but it also senses the importance of comprehensive openness, views, taking advantage of them into account, working within the team's mindset and innovation without being arrogant. Of critical creative thinking leads to more solid successes. The biggest challenge for Iraq now, as the central bank sees, after the elimination of gangs, is the ability to establish a new economic and financial concept of civilization, rephrasing previous concepts.

The future sought by the conference needs renewed energies and great efforts, and most importantly, changes in the mindset and concepts, especially with regard to the concept of responsibility and public work. Money and economy are not incompatible.

Will the rest of the ministries and departments seek to lay out their perceptions and programs in front of specialists and the public of citizens and the media, as did the Central Bank of Iraq, which is the most dangerous institution in the state?

The start of a military parade in central Baghdad in the presence of Abadi

A military parade began in central Baghdad on Sunday, 10 December 2017, in the presence of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi.

The parade was organized in the arena of festivities inside the Green Zone to mark the total elimination of a pre-emptive organization in Iraq and the liberation of all Iraqi territory from its control.

The parade was attended by several military units of different types and formations. Helicopters dangled from the air, including Iraqi army and Iraqi flags, as well as fighter jets.

Karadis traveled from the army, anti-terrorism, rapid intervention and other military formations amid the absence of Kurdish Peshmerga forces, which she said had not received an invitation to participate in the parade.

The commander-in-chief of the armed forces Haider Abadi announced on Saturday, the liberation of the land of Iraq in full, while maintaining the unity of Iraq and its people as "the most important and the greatest achievement."

The military parade began on Victory Day before the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. Abadi, announced yesterday victory over the call and the end of the war with it and the full border between Iraq and Syria. 

Abadi announced the statement of the joint operations command, in which he confirmed the completion of the liberation of Iraqi territory from the hands of Daash and that the armed forces have tightened control over the Iraqi-Syrian international border from the port of Al-Walid to the port of Rabia.

saying the cbi law was what was needed and there was no specific law needed for the deposit insurance.]   

Both are done... 

CBI law passed last month and deposit insurance was passed months ago,

never implemented...

yet the CBI stated just a day or so ago insurance was imminent.

An Iraqi military parade celebrating final victory over ISIS is underway in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone, an Iraqi military spokesman told Reuters on Sunday.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared final victory over ISIS on Saturday after Iraqi forces drove its last remnants from the country, three years after the militant group captured about a third of Iraq’s territory.

Iraqi forces recaptured the last areas still under ISIS  control along the border with Syria and secured the western desert, Abadi said, thus marking the end of the war against the militants.

Abadi declared Dec. 10 an annual national holiday.

The parade was not being broadcast live and only state media was allowed to attend, but several squadrons of Iraqi helicopters flew over Baghdad on Saturday carrying Iraqi flags in a rehearsal for the victory parade.

Iraqis celebrate victory over ISIS in Tahrir square

 

Dozens of Iraqis on Sunday gathered at Tahrir square in central Baghdad to celebrate the victory over ISIS terror group.

This comes as popular celebrations were held in various parts of Baghdad on Sunday.

Security forces tightened up security measures and deployed more troops in different parts of Iraq.

A security source said earlier on Sunday that security forces began cutting off roads leading to Tahrir Square, as they began decorating it in preparation for the victory celebrations.

A military parade was also organized in Grand Festivities Square.

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi delivered a speech during the parade and declared the total liberation of entire Iraqi territory.
