Wiljor
Iraq, December 6, 2017 Iran needs Iran's help to develop gas infrastructures, Iraqi Deputy Oil Minister for gas affairs Hamid Younis was quoted as saying in a media report. Iraq has vast programs to develop gas infrastructures like creating gas distribution networks for industrial, housing complexes and gas-fuelled vehicles, Younis was quoted in the Irna report. He said that Iran has valuable experiences in the sector of gas and Iraq needs their help to fulfil its goals in this concern. Younis said that Iraq is to use Iranian contractor's experiences both in the fields of investment and in the sector of joint venture projects to develop gas industry. Mutual cooperation between the two countries will continue under signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) last year, Younis said. Iran and Iraq Petroleum Ministers Bijan Zangeneh and Jabbar al-Luaibi signed two MoUs on cooperation in March 2017.
