Jubouri to US ambassador: Iraq is heading towards an important stage
(Baghdad: al-Furat News) Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri that Iraq is moving towards an important stage to adopt a comprehensive reconstruction plan in the liberated areas.
"Jubouri received on Wednesday the US ambassador to Iraq, Douglas Seelman," a statement from his office said. 
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the joint coordination to confront the organization. The meeting also discussed the developments in Iraq and the region and the file of the return of displaced persons to their liberated areas. 
"Iraq, after serving gangs that support crime, is moving towards an important stage that calls for everyone to take responsibility for a comprehensive reconstruction process, particularly in areas affected by the fight against terrorism," Jubouri said. 
He pointed out that "there are hundreds of displaced families who are still living in harsh conditions in the displacement camps deployed in the country, which requires exceptional efforts, local and international in order to accelerate their return to their liberated cities within the timing of specific time."
For his part, the US ambassador expressed "his country's support for Iraq and all fields," praising "the role of speaker of parliament and his efforts to ensure the security and stability of the country."

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is heading for an important stage that requires everyone to take over many of the areas occupied by the group and prepare a comprehensive reconstruction plan for the liberated areas, House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri told US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Seleman on Wednesday.

Al-Jabouri received the US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Silliaman. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the joint coordination to confront the Al-Jadid organization. The meeting also discussed the developments in Iraq and the region and the file of return Displaced persons to their liberated areas. "

Al-Jubouri said that "Iraq, after serving gangs and encouraging criminals, is heading towards an important stage that calls for everyone to take responsibility for carrying out a comprehensive reconstruction process, especially in areas affected by the fighting against terrorism."

"There are hundreds of displaced families who are still living in harsh conditions in the displacement camps in the country, which requires exceptional local and international efforts to speed up their return to their liberated cities within specific time limits."

For his part, the US ambassador expressed his country's support for Iraq and all fields, praising the role of Jabouri and his efforts to ensure the security and stability of the country.

He stressed that Iraq, after serving gangs and calling on criminals, is heading towards an important stage that requires everyone to take responsibility for a comprehensive reconstruction process, especially in areas affected by the fighting against terrorism.

Jubouri and UN discuss organized crime and victims of terrorism
President of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri discussed with UN Special Rapporteur Agnes Kalamard cases of organized crime and victims of terrorism.
A statement issued by his office, received by the agency {Euphrates News} copy of it today, "the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri received on Thursday evening, the United Nations Special Rapporteur Agnes Kalamard, on the death penalty and extrajudicial arbitrary measures." 
He added that "during the meeting, they discussed the conditions of Iraqi affairs, violations of human rights and freedoms, cases of organized crime, victims of terrorism and gangs operating outside the state and the law." 
He added that "the threats against the Iraqi citizen, especially the cases of threats, kidnapping, physical liquidation, mouthwashing and the confiscation of rights and freedoms by force of arms, were also reviewed by the terrorist groups and the outlaw groups."
He pointed out that "the two sides agreed on the importance of the adoption of the state to provide full protection to the citizen from any threat endangering his life or freedom, stressing the need to apply all laws that strengthen this role."
