"There are four parties that control the hard currency auction at the central bank, including small private banks that are almost fictitious, employees of the Central Bank, businessmen and other fictitious companies," MP Majida al-Tamimi told Agence France-Presse. She added that "the Finance Committee will call the governor of the Central Bank to discuss this issue to reduce the depletion of hard currency." For his part, said the expert in financial Bashim Tamimi, the auction of hard currency has become an outlet for corruption and the destruction of the economy, pointing out that his presence to destroy the national currency contrary to what is planned. Al-Tamimi told "Dinar" that the volume of corruption at the auction requires the intervention of the competent government agencies and the Integrity Commission to hold accountable those responsible for the destruction of the Iraqi economy, calling for the cancellation of the auction and the search for a new mechanism to balance the balance of currency. Experts believe that the currency auction with the Central Bank is a gateway to the smuggling of funds and whitening them, stressing that the currency auction is limited to certain companies belonging to political parties beneficiaries, while demanding the Central Bank to cancel the auction of currency and improve its monetary policy to support the value of the dinar. The depletion of Iraq's money in the sale of the currency to reduce Iraq's reserve of hard currency in the central bank to 43 billion dollars, according to MP Abdul Salam al-Maliki, a member of the Committee on Economy and Investment, adding that the central bank sells in the auction monthly about $ 6 billion in return for oil imports not Up to this amount.
