The law of oil and gas will end the Kurdish crisis

Said the member of the House of Representatives, Furat al-Shara "The law of oil and gas has been disabled since the previous two sessions," explaining that the adoption of sufficient to end the crisis in northern Iraq.

Al-Shara said during a press statement, "the trend of Press" on Monday, "that the passage of the Iraqi Council of Representatives to pass" the law of oil and gas "will contribute to resolving the crisis of Kurdistan and resolve the political and economic problems around him," stressing that this law regulates the relationship between local governments and the government of the Center, Who invests in the Ministry of Oil and establishes a clear oil policy. "

Al-Shara attributed the causes of the recurrent problems and crises between Baghdad and Erbil to the non-adoption of the oil and gas law during the previous two sessions.

He pointed out that the legislation of the law will contribute to the policy of oil and gas transparency and reduce the financial and administrative corruption in the black gold sector of the country, especially in northern Iraq.

It is noteworthy that the law of oil and gas books technically and legal guidance in the second month of 2007 to 2012 and was not initiated and voted by the former parliament, which in the middle of the first reading did not succeed members of the House of Representatives in full reading of the problems and irregularities and political districts.

Iraq sells 4 million barrels of oil to Europe on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange

 

30th October, 2017

The Iraqi oil marketing company (SOMO) plans to auction the Dubai Mercantile Exchange on Monday to sell four million barrels of Basra light crude for loading on November 26 and 27, sources in the oil industry said.

The destinations will be Europe only and the lowest bid is set at one cent above the official sale price of crude, the sources said.

That amount of crude may be beneficial to Europe, where Russian ore cargoes from the Baltic Sea ports in November will fall by 17 percent from the previous month.

But it may still be difficult to get high-level bids as Basrah Light crude in Asia has been sold at substantial discounts, according to sources in the sector.

....This's the main reason it hasn't been past in the past....With Barzani out of the way and his hands out of the cookie-jar....Maybe things will get back to where they should have been a half decade ago...

Oil & Gas Law Will end the Kurdish crisis-how long has this been going on ???????  I'm not having a good Monday and this sort of Stupid does nothing for my disposition

the crisis is article 140 concerning the kurds ,but something may have already been agreed on since the peshmerga just loaded up and rolled back into the non disputed areas peshmerga is fully capable of fighting if needed  and i agree Thug many important issues will/can only work enacted at the same time .... cheers
