Special - Mawazine News

I learned / Mawazin News /, from high sources on the existence of parliamentary efforts to postpone the elections, "local and parliamentary" for two years and the trend towards the formation of an emergency government.

The House of Representatives, on Monday (October 23, 2017), decided to vote on four lists of candidates for the Electoral Commission, and began the process of counting and sorting.

The sources said that "Iraq is facing a dangerous turn is the existence of parliamentary attempts to postpone the elections of the House of Representatives and the provinces with the support of the Sunni blocs and the current Prime Minister Haider Abadi, in addition to Vice President Nuri al-Maliki."

The sources added in an interview with Mawazin News that "there is a proposal on the way to form an emergency government." He said: "Maliki has set conditions for the approval of the emergency government, the most important of which is to keep the current government as a whole."

The sources added that "there are directions by the major powers supported by the countries of the region to go to Iraq next year to form an emergency government headed by Abadi."

On the other hand, sources pointed out that "there are political blocs seeking to withdraw confidence from a number of ministers close to the Prime Minister Haider Abadi, as well as a trend towards withdrawing confidence from the latter next year."

The sources pointed out that "this step came to withdraw the rug from the achievements achieved by Abadi after the liberation of cities from the control of the terrorist and the imposition of the security and law in the province of Kirkuk and the Nineveh Plain, in addition to improving relations with neighboring countries and win the support and support of the world.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Haider Abadi, arrived on Saturday (22 October 2017) to Saudi Arabia accompanied by a high-level delegation to discuss common issues between the two countries, and left for Egypt to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

At the end of his official tour, he arrived in Jordan, and Jordan's King Abdullah II also met with Jordan to strengthen bilateral cooperation, the war on terrorist groups and the threat it poses to the region.

I may be reading this Iraqi gibberish incorrectly, but this latest article from Yota is saying that Maliki does not want to form an emergency government and postpone elections. Also, for the media to check their sources before printing rumors like this. JMHO.

Sumer News: A source within the Dawa Party revealed the existence of differences on support for a particular list in the upcoming Iraqi elections .

It is known that the poles of the call Haider Abadi and Nuri al-Maliki will enter two lists in the elections, which has not yet decided the date of its conduct .

The source said the party had not yet decided whether to officially enter the elections on behalf of any list .

He pointed to the existence of "some internal differences on the entry of two lists in the upcoming elections, one led by Maliki and the other Abbadi ."

He pointed out that the move so far opposed the election law only in the event of an amendment expected to allow a particular party to participate more than an electoral list .

The leaks indicate a disagreement between the poles of Abadi and Maliki on several files, and that information went to the latter plans to form an emergency government .

But Maliki, a secretary general of the Dawa Party and Vice President of the Republic, denied that information .

seek the formation of an emergency government after the removal of Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi, " he said in a statement issued by his office late

Sunday .

He stressed that his position "with the holding of elections on schedule and everything published contrary, the goal of mixing the leaves and rhythm between the parties to the political process, and is committed to constitutional contexts and leave them so as not to get a setback to the political process ."
