The Iraqi Integrity Commission revealed on Sunday the issuance of an arrest and search warrant against the former chief of staff of the Iraqi army Babeker Zebari.

She pointed out that the order was issued on the basis of the provisions of Article 340 of the Iraqi Penal Code, indicating that "the arrest warrant issued against the accused was intended to cause damage to the funds of the body in which he was working," pointing to "the issuance of the order to hand over seven cars belonging to the Ministry of Defense Iraqi citizens to (the guests of the ministry) without right. "

Article 340 provides that "any person who is employed or is charged with public service shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years or to imprisonment for a public service intentionally causing damage to the funds or interests of the body in which he is employed or related by virtue of his employment or the funds of the persons entrusted to him."
