The Iraqi parliament on Wednesday (October 18th) celebrated the 12th anniversary of the referendum on the Iraqi constitution under the title "Our Constitution is our tent and the guarantor of our unity". 



The Iraqi constitution is the federal law under which Iraq  is currently governed  . The constitution was ratified in a referendum on 15 October 2005 and came into force in 2006.
