Monitoring sources: 3000 file corruption on officials "forbidden" to approach them!

Trend Press / Baghdad

"Of the 6,000 cases of corrupt officials in previous and current governments, nearly 3,000 have not been completed," government sources said Sunday .

The sources revealed that the government and parliamentary oversight bodies are subject to political pressure, which hampers its work and its ability to hold the corrupt accountable.

In this context, the spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Abdul Sattar Birqdar, acknowledged that the recent amnesty law allowed "corrupt" impunity.

He stressed that "there are corrupt people have been convicted of judicial decisions and issued sentences of punishment against them according to the law, but they included the law of amnesty, which was legislated by the House of Representatives . "

The Integrity Commission has uncovered hundreds of corruption files and issued arrest warrants against hundreds of officials for their involvement in corruption, misappropriation of public funds, making deals with local and foreign companies for commissions and mismanagement . "

The head of the Integrity Commission Hassan al-Yasiri, announced at the annual conference of the body, the number of ministers and those in the rank of those who were issued orders for recruitment to investigate during the year 2017, 35 ministers, as well as 306 officials, adding that the funds seized more than 51 Billion dinars. The amnesty law definitely needs to be amended.  Or pay the money back and skip jail time

depending on your official title if the games have to continue.  All the world wants is for

Maliki and crew  to swing for the lives lost. And the international courts can take care of that.

Information / Baghdad ..

The head of the Interpol Central Office in Iraq, Arkan Farhan Hassan, on Wednesday, the presence of senior officers in the Republican Guard of the former regime reside in Lebanon, pointing out that the Lebanese authorities began three years ago to cooperate with Iraq in the wanted file.

"The file of wanted men between the two countries is not a thorny issue for more than one reason," Hassan said in a statement published by the Saudi daily Asharq Al-Awsat. "Lebanon began about three years ago to cooperate with us in this case, The former Abd al-Falah al-Sudani, who traveled to Iraq and before it was received an employee in the secretariat of Baghdad stolen millions of dollars. "

He added that "the other reason is that there are no serious and serious wanted for Iraq in Lebanon, except for some senior officers of the former regime, especially some officers of the Republican Guard, while there are Iraqis wanted in cases of misdemeanors and crimes and those Iraq does not demand their return because they are not politicians or on the list of wanted because they are subject To the laws of the country that committed the crimes or crimes on its territory but we follow only their cases. "

Hassan stressed that "there are no wanted in Iraq to the Lebanese authorities, but there are detainees for the offense committed by them and those applied to them under Iraqi law and not claimed by the Lebanese authorities." Ending / 25
