Iran's parliamentarian Mahmoud Sadeghi called on Iraq to pay an estimated $ 1100 billion in compensation for the eight-year war between the two countries in the 1980s.

Sadeghi's statement comes after Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi declared Iraq's commitment to US sanctions on Iran.

The Iranian MP said via Twitter that Iraq is required to pay 1100 billion dollars as the fine of the Iran-Iraq war, according to Article 6 of Resolution 598.

He added that Iran did not claim war compensation because it took into account the difficult circumstances of Iraq.

"Now the Iraqi prime minister, instead of compensating, is in line with the unjust sanctions against us."

Abadi said during his press conference on Tuesday that Iraq does not sympathize with the US sanctions against Iran , but stressed that it would abide by "to protect the Iraqi people."

On Tuesday, new US sanctions against Iran began, despite pleas from Washington's allies, Trump wrote on Twitter, "These are the toughest sanctions ever, and in November they will reach a higher level. Anyone who deals with Iran will not be able to deal with the United States. I ask for world peace, no less! "

Iran’s Foreign Minister said on Wednesday that his country appreciates offers to mediate with the United States. Mohammad Javad Zarif told the Persian-language media in Iran that such offers are normal because there are no official relations between the two countries.

“There is no doubt that countries in the region,” he added, “especially those which are as wise as the Sultanate of Oman, would offer initiatives that prevent the crisis from escalating.” The minister stressed his country’s desire to maintain security and stability in the region and to restore relations with Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain through dialogue.

On 31 July, Omani Foreign Minister Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah said in an interview with Al Jazeerathat his country was ready to help avoid a conflict between Iran and the United States.

Commenting on the escalation of the crisis between Iran and the US, Zarif said that the US has never been credible. “The American President does not care about the Iranian people and international commitments,” he noted.

In response to the US proposal to hold negotiations with Iran without preconditions, the Foreign Minister pointed out that the problem is not negotiating with the US, but the extent of confidence in their outcome. Nobody, he insisted, wants to enter into futile negotiations that waste a lot of time.

Abadi knows who is likely to put butter on his bread. Iran is broke. They spent

all the money Obummer gave them on the militias stirring up trouble through-out

the area of the middle east. If you had two uncles one rich and one poor who would

you side with.  HA

very strange. all these ME countries want to assist in negotiations so things won't escalate between the US and Iran but all these same countries know that Iran is a terrorist nation. So they sit back, as always, and let the US be the bad guy to stop Iran even when they know the truth. I am so sick of this. The US always seems to take the heat and cost for the world.....again!

Abadi is currently trying to help Southern Iraq recover from Tehran's attack on Southern Iraq by cutting electricity and drinking water to Iraqi's there. Basra should have built their own Power Plants and developed their own water supplies instead of counting on the honorable Iranians!  😄

After Trump sanctions, Iran threatens to bomb US bases in 112 countries

An Iranian writer on Thursday threatened that pro-Iranian suicide bombers would hit US bases in 112 countries.

Ali Reza Farqani's statements came after US President DonaldTrump had ordered US sanctions against Iran to take effect last Tuesday. The sanctions will be further escalated to a more severe level on November 4.

Farqani, editor-in-chief of ‘Arman Press', expressed “the readiness of the Iranians to fight the war against the US.
