Why didn't TV networks show angry, booing fans...

With President Donald Trump's attacks against protesting NFL players still reverberating, the league's TV partners decided to air live coverage of the national anthem before Week 3 games. Those partners left out a key element of the coverage: crowd shots of angry fans.

Networks typically do not televise the national anthem except for the Super Bowl and other special occasions, but they recognized there would be intense viewer interest this past weekend.

Welcome back Shabs it's always good to hear good news about anyone's health.  Even the close calls are frightful.

Thank you, Patrick.  All I can say is, if something just doesn't feel right physically, don't ignore it.  I was very lucky....Praise God.

I here y'all it's like the same reason when Trump was kicking everyone asses in the primary and the media refused to show how big his crowds were , It's just all fake BS news and  the rest of the country knows better. The NFL is going to pay for these rogue SOB's , just maybe football will get back to where it once was when these players start making normal wages and they won't start acting like the arrogant big premedonna  pricks they are! As of the last two days I personally know at least 14 people that are going to boycott the NFL season.

Sorry guys, I have been out of pocket for the last 10 days or so. Shabs, what happened to you? If you don't mind me asking?

A CT scan revealed I had an Intussusception, where my lower intestine was telescoping into itself.  Its kind of common among the very young and is very treatable.  Among adults though, its quite dangerous and usually involves a cancerous tumor.  If the intestine perforates, chances of survival drop dramatically.  From cat scan to operating table for me was less than 24 hours.  Fortunately the tumor I was found to have was not malignant.  A little more than a foot of my lower intestine was removed.  I stayed somewhat up to date with DV during recovery and posted a few times, but my focus was elsewhere usually.  Its good to be back though.

That must be a little bit of hard stance to take in the Houston area considering all the great things players like JJ Watt do for the community.  As always, just my opinion, Tex.

Hello Shabs ! JJ is an amazing and gifted person , so well rounded and he is not even from around these parts. But he was raised right and comes from a good family. I suspect that you won't see him sitting out the National Anthem and for that It's too bad that I won't be watching him this year until the NFL respects our flag, our soldiers, our National Anthem and our country. Too Bad.........

Thank you, my favorite fur ball.  I'm almost completely healed and feel great.  It all happened very quickly.  Mrs Shabs and our son were the greatest caregivers I could ever hope for.  My son and I tend to be at each others throats quite often, as it appears he inherited my knack for sarcasm.  However, he was so rock solid through this whole thing, particularly in helping and supporting his mother that I will be forever grateful.  I knew the DV community would have also been there for me, there simply wasn't time for me to reach out to the DV prayer warriors.  Thanks again.
