A member of the House of Representatives Mowaffaq al-Rubaie told «morning»: «The Council will take action against the deputies who participated in the referendum of the region and decide on their fate in the future», pointing out that «the purpose of these measures is not to affect the quorum during the vote on the important and fateful laws in the future» . He pointed out that the language of political consensus, partnership and participation will be rejected after being a summary of the principle of (quotas), stressing that the political majority will prevail in the Council after now after the counting of deputies abstaining from the presence.For his part, said a member of the House of Representatives Rasul Radhi Abu Hasna: The presence of more than 185 members of the House of Representatives from various blocs will facilitate the passage of controversial laws that remained over the past years in the inclusion of the Council. Abu Hashna told Al-Sabah that this number of parliamentary presence will be helpful in passing the laws, which remained more than two sessions in the inclusion of the Council because of political consensus, which missed many opportunities on Iraq. He said that the absence of members of the political blocs of the Kurdistan Alliance will not affect the vote on those laws. The law of the Federal Court and provincial council elections is one of the most important laws that need political consensus.As the first law requires the approval of the Kurdistan Alliance, which objected to the laws of the court, which must be taken by a two-thirds majority demanding to be unanimous, while their opposition to the law of provincial elections to include the province of Kirkuk provincial elections, while the Arab parties insisted that Kirkuk has an election law Its own away from the provincial elections. To this member of the Legal Committee Zana Said that the controversial laws if approved by the blocks present in the parliament, they will pass without the presence of the Kurds.Said said in a statement to «morning» that the compatibility between the Arab component in the House of Representatives will pass a lot of laws as provincial elections and the Federal Court without there being any obstacles. DoD Posted September 26, 2017 Report Share Posted September 26, 2017 Business as usual, the Kurds haven't been to parliament in awhile now. They need to pass and implement these new laws an post them in the gazette. Make sure the Kurdistan area gets plenty of copies. No more negotiations, time for talk is over...we're moving forward.
